    Prizes
Prizes in Halloween Mayhem are awarded in the form of Mayhem Tokens, which can also be looted from event creatures in this and other Mayhem-style events. Mayhem Tokens can be exchanged for exclusive items via the Mayhem Token Trader, located in Cape Corinth, Port Atlantis and Twin Peaks on Planet Calypso.

Mayhem Tokens can be accumulated over the course of several events to purchase more expensive items, allowing participants to make incremental progress toward their desired rewards.

Mayhem Tokens are non-tradable, but the items available for purchase in the Mayhem Token Vendor are tradable. Note that certain Mayhem Token Vendor items may also require special Placement Mayhem Tokens, awarded as event prizes, in order to be purchased.

    Mayhem Annihilation Gameplay
Interact with the winged statue inside the Annihilation event instance to begin spawning zombies and start the mission timer; the timer pauses automatically when leaving the instance.

Eliminate Halloween Zombie Mutants to accumulate as many points as possible in 15 hours.

    A random number of points (0, 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, or 5000) is automatically awarded after defeating one of the event instance mutants.

Once your 15-hour run is complete, your score is finalized and recorded. You can then start a new run to try to improve upon your previously-recorded score. The score from a new run is only recorded if it is higher than the previously-recorded score.

You can only have a recorded score in a single category at a time. Recording a new score with higher points (regardless of category) will replace any previously-recorded score.

The top ten highest scorers (most accumulated points) in each category win prizes.

    Practice Annihilation
There is also a Practice Annihilation mode, which is not part of the competition. This mode allows teams of up to 4 players to enter and has no skill requirement restrictions. Players can also enter without a team.

Practice Annihilation mode will allow hunters to try out different categories and hunt for Mayhem tokens and Halloween Strongboxes at their leisure. The creatures in Practice Annihilation are Shared Loot. Practice Annihilation opens October 30, 14:00 UTC

    Mayhem Survival Gameplay
Survive for as long as you can against increasingly dangerous stages of Zombie Mutants and Dogs.

Dying, disconnecting or leaving will end the instance. Score will be recorded at the moment of disconnect/death.

You can only have a recorded score in a single category at a time. Recording a new score with higher points (regardless of category) will replace any previously-recorded score.

Each stage consists of 10 phases. On phases 3, 6 and 9 there will be a capture point that must be reached within 45 seconds, and held for 15 seconds. Failing hold the capture point ends the instance.

Randomly placed pumpkins containing various buffs appear periodically. Beware that some pumpkins are tricks, rather than treats, and will result in a debuff instead.

Volatile Barrels - Destructible objects that deal damage to all nearby enemies. PED spent on destroying the barrel is transferred to the loot of creatures damaged by the explosion.

Survival Practice Area - Loot Halloween Strongboxes while practicing! Same layout and features as the competitive survival instances. Team is required to enter (but one can be solo in the instance). If any team member dies inside the instance or leaves, the instance is ended.

Survival Mode has multiple sound cues, so it is advantageous to have sound enabled.

    Practice Survival
There is also a Practice Survival mode which is not part of the competition. This mode allows teams of up to 4 players to enter and has no skill requirement restrictions.

In Practice Survival mode it is necessary to be part of a team to enter. A team may consist of 1 to 4 players. Once inside the instance the team may be disbanded.

Practice Survival mode will allow hunters to try out different categories and hunt for Mayhem tokens and Halloween Strongboxes at their leisure. The creatures in Practice Survival are Shared Loot. Practice Survival opens November 2, 14:00 UTC

Seriously, real talk. If your level is outside of your playstyle, CHIP OUT ALL THOSE SKILLS FOR PROFIT.

I am perma level <35. I chip out consistently any skills that might raise me above 35. That is my comfortable level of play, and it makes me get profit consistently from hunts by selling the skills.
Who are you finding who is paying enough to actually profit from chipping out? I have been giving away skills for free and even paying people to take them and still having trouble finding takers.

Which skills? 'Cause the one I need to get rid of the most is Marksmanship, and that one doesn't sell even below monthly markup.

I am interested to know too, as I have seen skill chips at auction cheaper than the ESIs.
Don´t see any possible profit there

Am level 56 with 200 health (it went up cos of my play style - switched from gun to melee and doing mining).

I don't plan to be competing with level 70s. I will probably be over 220 health before I even hit lvl 65 max, meaning will be competing against the 80s.

Guess I will seat out all such events as they are only designed for those who only follow "one true way" of playing / selling / giving away skills to match the events.

If your highest Combat Lvl is 56, you'd be in Cat5 for the Main Event with a cap of 190 HP, against Lvl 20 Mutants with 1540 HP.

Not sure what you mean by "competing with lvl 70's"

Yea I hear ya. I was under-prepared for this, obviously. I had never tried one of the Mayhem events. My only event experience so far was with GR, which is designed more around mob level than player level (which makes more sense to me). It's all good, I will still login and shoot stuff up, just can't compete. No worries. I did loot some boxes so far, so that was cool.
Of all mayhems, this is perhaps the least friendly to common UL armors, due to exotic damage combination.

I'd dare say Viceroy and Gremlin are nigh useless. My mining armor (Stolen Imperium) fares a little better - I'm comfortable in Cat 2, could probably plate up to Cat 3, but Cat 4 is a no-go.

On the plus side, it provides a boost to L business.

Animal armours (bear, jag etc) are fine with some 6b plates for elec
Crafted armours (zombie, phantom etc) are fine with 6a plates for penetration
Standard armours (shogun, paladin etc) are a little low in penetration but with 6b for elec should be ok

Only real problem is the gremlin as it has no pen and very little elec.

If you just want a bit of protection on each of the attacks (cut, impact, penetration, elec) then 4b would give 10 points with 2 or 3 on each of the attacks.

Just checked that stolen imperium, it should work well. How much dam are those liitle mobs doing?

hey ludvig, if you read this... whats up with that 45 gold token UL BP 20 FEN edition in the vendor. i hope it wasnt stocked because now its at 0 and if there has been some stocked and they sold i hope you turn them into limited as this is clearly a bug
This item did indeed have an error and it was supposed to be set to L rather than UL. It was never stocked, but will be in the future, once it has been fixed.

I can kill cat 10 in stolen imperium/5b. M83 to half their health , and finishing with lifesteal melee.

I have no issues with pegasus L and 5b/smuggler plates. Cat 8 is almost no heal and cat 10 is HoT once a mob. Haven't tried it on the boss in 10 yet

I'm doing this practice instance alone from Arkadia and I keep ending up with people joining the same instance/dungeon that I am in. At the time of writing I had two strangers join me (one of which was grouped with me 3 times before already today.)

While I was just casually shooting while playing another game tabbed, I now feel like I constantly need to be on my toes not tagging their mobs and making sure I get some damage done on the boss.

I am not happy with this.

*edit* This is in practice mode 01 and both other players are from Arkadia.
