where is my shop gone?

Hi ppl.

after last update i was log in, walking to my shop for get some items i have in my shop.

But no shop around... no more OXFORD Mall! and MA don't give any information what is happens about my shop nor my items there !:mad:

Also don't got any support information about this issue.

Yes ISSUE - They are to lazy to tell ppl what they do, so Ppl. can take the items out of the shop, before they remove it! And why they remove it, and don't give a new location to same time?

i feel my a bit angry about this, and i be :scratch2::eek::rolleyes:

It is ok if they change things like this, but a bit more communication to the owners would solve many frustration we have about MA!
 
are there any coords listed on your deed?
 
see vu 10.1.2 content list. it reads:

The mall in New Oxford has been demolished. The building, a relic from the old colonization phase, was condemned after it was discovered that it had structural damage from the blast of Typhon’s impact. After it being infested by Calypsian concrete worm, Colonial Administration saw no other choice than to tear down the building.

where it went no clue unfortunately. would expect they inform you.

I know, this isn't funny. And I would be highly pissed if it was a shop of mine!

MA really needs to get their shit together and explain to their customers what they are doing before they have no customers left. If this was any other business they wouldn't have customers to speak of. Sometimes I am surprised they have customers at all. :scratch2:

i read this.... but this don't helps me to get my items back, or get a information i will get back a similar shop some where !

I don't know if I should laugh or cry...What the f. happened to the policy of ensuring business investments were safe in Entropia? :scratch2:

I believe (and hope) they'll put something new and fancy up in the upcoming VU to replace it, but the lack of info really is embarrassing for MA.

Yeah it is weird if they did not tell you anything. could it be they did not know you were there? Never underestimate the power of MA to mess up. I would be intrested in the outcome of the support case you no doubt made for this.

im sure they know i was there:) and some other shops was open too, and we all had customers there!

would be nice if other Oxford mall shop owners tell, what is happen about your shops.

Sue them for the lack of income your not getting for them closing your shop. They want to deal with real life money then they should treat you like a real life business.

the lack of income of my shop is one thing, but i have the larger lack about no make up system, but this needs a other thread for talking about:)
 
I am sure they must have a good reason for doing it. Probably the fact that all the other shop owners complained that they didnt get a mall shop to replace theirs.

I am sure in the long run, you will have a better shop than before and more customers.

I'm usually one to give MA/FPC a pass on this stuff, but some of these things with real estate are just pure foolishness.

This issue in particular, to completely hose up one set of shops without any forewarning or without even boxing up their equipment and providing them with the Personal Storage Terminal to cope is a mess.

I expect the swiftness of the destruction of the mall at New Oxford involved something with legal ramifications as to why it was done so quickly. Maybe another shop owner was threatening to sue for preferential treatment or something?

But it isn't just this. The way the condominium buildings were switched around with no regard for placement to a teleporter and the surrounding areas/views is a similar screw-up. I understand that some things had to look different as the new system now recognizes and computers those other buildings in 3D unlike the old VU, but the complete rearrangement is quite odd, unless they were placing and twisting buildings to give preferential clients on one side of the building the best views and such.

The incredible changes and rearrangements of LAs is yet another, although they fixed some of these fairly quickly.

The net result, however, is that the idea of an "investment", particularly a real estate investment, is now completely destroyed.

I see estates going up for sale on the auction, and I'm actually in a position to want a good apartment, but there's no way I feel comfortable spending to cover the markup when changes like this happen behind the curtain in the dark with little to no hope for a resolution. Now if I go buy an apartment, and MA/FPC redesigns the cities again, will I get screwed?

Get your stuff together, FPC. You're destroying your own marketing hooks!

I do understand that MA want to "ramake" or simply total delete oxford... that place was sadly , due to its dumb design , a nice desert...
But , what i dont understand is , they dont prior , give back item to people who had shop there ,and also , build first the replacement shop/building , and give to people something egual to what they had...

That behavior amaze me evry time i read about MA...

3 month ago , one of my power back up (APC schneider) sundently die when i start my computeur...
Since it was still under guarantie , i call the service...
i only did wait 3 min , to get someone looking at my problem... after some basic question , and test... the guy say the back up is dead and need to be replaced...The phone call was on thurday , i live in france..on the tusday morning , i had a fresh new back up delivered at homr for free...and , some day latter they did take the old broken backup again for free...
They simply assumed i was a fair customer , that my backup was broken , and they replaced it as fast as possible , and all that for free...
Now guys you know what ?
evrytime someone ask me about a backup , you can be sure i say to buy a APC schneider, they maybe have some problem , but the suport work like lightspeed , and really do the job...
Yet , i dont recomand EU to anyone....

In effect i really don t understand why all this happen. Or maybe it s not supposed i understand. Probably MA and FPC have huge , beautiful and great plans for us. But this don t means that for example they cannot say " sorry guys" we did a mistake. I would like really know who is the genius that does this kind of things!!!!!
Moreover:
people that are owners of hangar get money back for the tp stuff. And it s fair. Now if i brought a shop for me this is my investment. If my shop just disappear you are deliberately fucking my business, this has nothing to do with dynamic.
Can u imagine??? the cave shop was not so popular, let say a shop had a value 10. After u found in your hand a shop in a mall. Probably your shop would value 20. Maybe u sell it for 15. And now the same shop, who knows....maybe will cost 5!!!!!!!!
this is crazy guys!!!!! this is absolutely crazy.

I guess many companies will never invest in Eu cause it s not a stable RCE at all. ps: without considering the ND planet have someone any news about any other planets?????

i mean MA and FPC need some one that take care about public relation, they need some one that will explain what and why (i don t say before but at least after some is happen). I guess some must change work.

That bold statement is something they are working very hard on. Problem I see though is that they are working to eliminate them. At least seemingly the ones that have put a lot of money into building this platform to where it is now.

I apologize for the frustration in this matter and a statement will be issued tomorrow on what is going on. I am still gathering information on the matter.
