Well I had nothing to do for the last two days, so designed a multi-purpose vehicle for EU. It’s sort of a futuristic heavy industrial design. Unfortunately the model isn't optimised for games all, running in at around 150,000 triangles (partially thanks to all the tubes and hydraulic lines) and taking two minutes to render with Mental Ray.
So here it is, the Omegaton Mule MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle). Originally developed to haul cargo containers from the ships arriving on Calypso to storage, colonists discovered the Mule could be adapted to serve additional tasks.

For scale I shoved in a few bipeds:

The engine doesn’t directly power the wheels, instead it drives a large hydraulic pump. Each wheel is turned by a hydraulic motor, so whilst it doesn’t have a great top speed (35Km/h), the wheels have immense torque thus allowing it to drive up even the steepest hill. To steer the front four wheels turn. Also by default it carries one driver and one gunner.
The open back allows the Mule to carry a variety of loads – so it’s a jack of all trades rather than a specialist vehicle. You buy the empty vehicle as shown above, and then if you want, can purchase different (crafted) containers for it. You simply drag and drop the container attachment onto the vehicle in inventory to outfit it however you want. I built four examples:
Cargo Container:
Increases the item carrying capacity up to 150 with a max weight of 1500Kg, so ideal for miners or traders who haul a lot of items. Basically it’s a giant mobile storage box, and if deployed whilst extracting a claim, minerals are placed in the vehicles inventory rather than the avatars. A variant of this could have either a TT or Repair Terminal installed instead of storage.

Personnel Transport:
Additional 4 avatar transport capacity, so quite good for deploying teams at landgrab, touring Calypso, or getting a hunt/swunt party to a location.

Satellite Uplink:
Two functions – only one can be active at once and only works for avatars in the vehicle. Furthermore due to the extra power shunted to the uplink systems, the vehicle loses speed and reduces it to a measly 20km/h.

Localised Short Range Scan: Re-enables the radar in PVP zones, since all scanning systems are focused on the local area, cutting through the interference and detecting mobs/avatars.
Long Range Activity Heat Mapping: Basically shows movement on your map for 2Km as a series of vague fuzzy blobs ranging from blue through to red (See: http://www.steampowered.com/status/tf2/death_maps/cp_dustbowl_deaths.jpg ) Red indicates high activity, blue low, so this helps spot mob spawn clusters (useful if you’re looking for a spawn, or even to avoid if you’re TP running) and perhaps avatars heading towards you. The map doesn’t update real-time – each time you open your main map a static overlay is placed over it showing the current activity. So you have to keep opening/closing your map if you want updates.
Fire Support:
Allows two additional mounted guns. Pretty much self explanatory.

EDIT:
Some requested me to make an aircraft. So here it is:
