a large majority of you are... including myself... if you would like to admit it or not :(

This game turns us into losers.... FACT...

i log in every day and lose... I dont know if I can take it anymore...

the constant losses... really effect ones feelings about ones self...

IRL i dont lose :) so it is very hard to be such a looooossserrrrr in game for sooo many months/years....

lose 50-300$ a day for a long period of time... with no end in sight... and tell me how you feel :)


the game is broke for me... dont know when it happened but it has been broke for sometime now :(

Lossing = NO FUN...
Games are played for FUN...

bring back the love MA... bring back the game we all fell in love with... not this MONEY PIT!

go out with 1,000 peds to hunt... come back with 300-500 AT BEST...

love giving away 50$ every hour or so
 
i read somewhere u deposited 100k usd in a year why don't you buy mod merc mod fap and the like are they not ped machines

actually with my current weapon i have more dps and more eco then mod merc :) at my skill level atleast

but no i didnt depo 100k in a year... u may have miss read... i said one could LOSE 100k$ in a year... based on the losses i have been incuring...

300$ a day x 365 days = 109,000$

but i do know people who have lost over 100,000$ in this game...

In case you didn't know, markup is the key to profit or at least minimize your loss... If you want to play as you have played so far; Hunting/Mining in taxed areas with no markup returns, it's your loss :hammer:

I wasn't taking it that way.

Anyway, a constant feeling of losing, of being a loser so to speak, can really damage the psyche. In a way some (most?) of us are abusing ourselves by playing this game. I never thought about it that way.

and i hate to admit it and probably sounds very gay... but everytime i play 5-10 hours a day... and lose atleast 300$ usually more... (which is everytime i play for a long period)

i have terrible anxiety... during the remainder of the day and trying to go to sleep... this game is bad for health... both physical and mental...

constant feeling of loss is not healthy

and no i dont have anxiety issues or anxiety other then when playing this damn game :(

and i do very high stakes investments irl...

which allows me to lose this money... and have this excess funds to lose... but still doesnt feel good

if balance is not restored i fear this game wont be around much longer again... this is coming from a old old player... I have 20k$ left in game i am i hopeful change will come soon enough before that 20k$ i have left in game is worth 0$

I am not asking for an ATH...
I am not asking for big hofs...

I am asking for balance... it cant be constant losses all the time...

should be a range of like 80-120% returns... or something... but it is always lately 30-50% returns good day is 60-70%

bring back balance... or hire someone who is competent... that can fix this...

I am not asking for anything for free... i know the game costs money like every game... but it is a bit excessive when players could dish out 100k$ and get back NOTHING in return... that is just sick

I have a casino not far from where i live...
I invest in derivatives for a living... Can make or lose 100k$ in a day very quickly...

that isnt the point... this is a game which i have been active in for 8 years...
recently CONSTANT losses has been the name of this game...

but enough about me... and back on topic :)

Ok, here is what you do...

Don't play for a month. You sound like you need a little break anyway. :yup:

Then take 300 a day you have saved by not playing and put it into one big pile. That should equal 9000. Take that 9000 and buy 90 land deeds. At current rate of 6 ped per week per deed, that gives you 540 peds every single week. That should cover the losses for one days playing.

Repeat for however many days you play a week. At the end you will have a humongus pile of deeds AND you will be playing at no cost! And if you ever want to check out of the game, put the deeds on auction and GET YOUR INVESTMENT back!!!!

P.S. Land deeds are awesome :yay:

I'd de-register your credit / debit card as well. Not that it will make much diference now, with $20k in game.

If you're sick of losing that much then you have to make a start somewhere and not depositing it in the first place is good one.

Slot machines in the UK have a requirement to payout a certain percentage of money they collect. Some one will be lucky and the rest will not. EU is not really much different except there's no goverment body or law regulating returns. And even if they did it would be over the entire playerbase not to individuals.

The thing is you can't use this statistics.

Let's say that you lose $300 a day for 50 days. What's to say on the 50th day you won't hit that ATH which will give you return to 90- 120%?

It's simple math, really, that if we would theorize over loot based on, let's say, 1/10'000 a big HoF comes, it also means that it can come twice in a row on 1/20'000 - or not at all, or maybe it will come on the 10'000 mob. It's horrible odds, but if you are an experienced poker-player you know that odds are bullet-proof but you will only hit the 6th on your dice 1 in every 6 times if you go on forever; else you will only hit it close to 1/6 times after 100k times hitting your dice against the table.

Personally I don't like my odds for getting that big thing that will break me even, on the other hand I have deposited in the last two years what you say you have spent in the last five days ... I do feel better - but still a poor student not understanding how I am going to be able to play this game and still have money in my pocket. I guess time will tell if I quit - again.

So put aside more than 300 a day....

I do 1-2 900 ped ammo hunts every day. 5-6 on a day off if I can. If I have a relay bad run I have 60% return, and thats not so often. My average after 250K ammo i 99.996% with mu.

Please crawl back to the cave you came from or stop talking BS:laugh:
 
Ok you say its bad for youe health, loseing so much money and your not enjoying any more. Go to rehab. You got a problem and you need a break.

 
If the 100k$ isnt a result of paying rediculous markups and stupid actions, then you will for sure get something really big back, else you made EU´s economy and a lot other players happy with aid of ur money.

If you give two sh.ts about ur PED/Loss and u just wanna have return, then go for biggest amp-mining or amp-crafting, u can force payback.

i started the week with
with about 4k peds... Lost that
Depoed another 1k peds lost that
sold 2k peds in skills lost that
and sold of inventory worth around 1k-2k peds gone...

113.27 on card... busted armour... and broke weapon :)
800$ loss in less then a week ;p

what i say is 100% accurate... you are one of the lucky ones... i am not talking BS...
but i believe you are doing great :)
you have 163k in globals and almost 10k ped hof :)

I have UL HIGH ECO gear... so nothing is lost to mark up...

If your losses include stuff you bought with MU, technically MU is all loss unless you cover it back up with MU.

One of the biggest losses is MU because alot of people consider it TT.

Which is one main reason i only pay for UL items, not constant MU, and because of it. I do just fine.

I am certain if i stopped hunting and just flew around :) or PVP4ed all day the games cost would drastically drop... and probably turn a profit... small but a profit...

But I have paid in so huge hunting and mining :) the hof has to come sooner then later :)
Then i will become a pirate or PVP4er ;)


till then i am a Loser like all other hunters and miners :)

I have been saying for years...Welcome to EU where even when you "win big ath", your still a loser :dunce:

Also I have been using the phrase "year of the snake" to describe what I believe this year will be like, (and has so far everything I hear says this to be true)

Year of the snake = Very low loot returns for all, with larger than normal (and more frequent) insane high ATH's to keep us hooked. We have seen many very large ATH's recently, and yet overall people complain about bad loot.

I believe MA is in a stage of their plans where they are concerned with increasing their profit, nothing wrong with that especially if they use it to launch an extended plan to better EU...its really only a bad thing if they cash out :eyecrazy:

Throw in citizen land deeds, and assume MA wants them to appear profitable for at least the first year "could / would they pad the deed payouts from the loot pool?

Regardless, I expect this year to be low loot returns overall, with higher chances of the lotto ath hits...So I call it the year of the snake :)

Didn't you use to claim to be able get TT profit with melee some years ago? So how did this all shifted? Or you just throwing another hype, rumour around?

it is true... 2008 or so was a good year... the last 3 years or so total losses... this will be the 4th year of crap :)
