First off, that house was not NEAR shore. It was actually quite far off the shore, and I would have gone even further out if the servers weren't dead to the south. Secondly, the house stood for 20 days before it was found. I am thankful and truly sure that I must be the luckiest person on this planet that it was found after judging. In case some of are unable to read or didn't read the rules, I couldn't just pick it up after screenies. It had to be there for the MA judges to inspect if needed.

Anyways, Infusion returned some of the stuff from the house. I'm sure the other noobs had fun looting it like schoolchildren in a candy store. It worked out for the best, I was planning on having a contest for people in town anyways where winner would get coords. I just would have liked to show some close friends the inside of it before it was demolished. No problem though, it went to charity and I am happy that someone else is. It doesn't have to still be standing in PE for it to still be standing in my mind - imagination can never be taken from me. I hope it made some of you say "omfg" like it did to everyone that ever saw it in the flesh. 50 hours of fun building it and I wouldn't trade that for a full set of supremacy anyday.

Special thanks to Roe and Alexis for help building that masterpiece as well as Vixen for a few of the items that I put inside of it (she knew that they were gonna be there and takable but didn't think they would be taken - gonna have to explain that lol). Either way, the supremacy part will easily cover costs of items that were left there, and I am glad Mccormick made that post for fake oil rig. LOL very ironic that after all this time pKing noobs at the rig to claim all oil, a fake rig was the thing that led noobs to steal oil from me lol. Either way, I hope those people that dismantled it would return the more expensive items, but I'm sure they won't. No problem, I came out ahead and am very happy that everyone else enjoyed it.

Nice Post PS.

Personally, I would have loved to have seen the work of art in the flesh so to speak, it's just a shame that people had to destroy it as there appears to be no ethics for some people.

And before any of you say I would have done the same, no, i wouldn't. I would have seen what it was, a piece of art that hadn't taken time and care to build.
That in itself would have made it worth while to leave it standing for others to see.

But as we all know in this game, people are all to easy to make a quick buck without doing any hard work. It's easy to destroy, but so much harder to create.

By the way - it took under 2k peds to build it all. Not exactly cheap, but far cheaper than buying a house and decorating it too.

Yes It is still there. I was there this morning and got 4k of oil for free :D so it's well worth the long swim ;)

Smaller then it used to be and for some reason they took out the tp that used to be here so you need to make the long swim everytime you come out, But I am still getting alot of oil and it's not a pvp zone so it's well worth the trip ;)

Oh and for you late people here is where the oil platform is 19841 4107 thats East of Pa out in the water.
