I logged in with the plan to start recreating my ava, and I was going to find a nice spot to do it. Bounced all back and forth, and DC'd within 5 minutes. No way that I'm even thinking of coming back today to do the ava recreation with lag like this.

Make sure you get the 64 bit version of Windows 7. With the 32 bit version, your planned 4 GB of RAM will forever be your max. With the 64 bit you can take full advantage of the limits of your MB, which will be around 24GB probably.
