Entropia Universe Enhances New Player Experience as Technical Evolution Continues

Am i really this old? Wasn't the new player area thingy revamped like last year? Sure doesn't feel like it was all that long ago we got to beta test a new starting area

FYI: How Loot Returns Work as Function of Looter Level and Efficiency, Based on Actual Data, as of March 3rd, 2022

Holy crap, this turned into a whole discussion (a surprisingly interesting one) when there didn't really need to be one in the first place. MindaArk rarely speak, and when they do, it is generally the truth (albeit, sometimes a bit mysterious in wording). MindArk has stated several times...

News: The Expansion of Entropia Universe

To me this sounds like someone watched a tutorial on procedural generation of content and realized that "hey, this is something we could make money in doing" It is not a bad idea, depending on implementation. Which is also where i see issues. Historically, there has been some very good ideas...

News: Update Regarding Core Balancing of Entropia

So, another "AI"-post saying "we hear you, we hope 'AI' can fix the issues we created" Oh well it is at least an indication that there is some understanding that there are deeper issues that require attention.

FYI: MA dev spawn today at 11:00 utc

This saddens me to see. While I, of course, would like for everyone who desires to participate in an "event", I still think that spontaneity(sp?) holds a value as well. We have plenty of predictable content. Heck, i could plan to take time off from work to participate in content for years...

    95% Explained

Regardless of the factual errors in this post, the premise of your example is one that makes a misleading log. If you want a financial log that is accurate, you need to include any cost that has anything to do with the loot instance. If you die 20 times and you use your tp chip to get back that...

Found it on lunch break. From dev notes #1

    Info: My Hunting Log.

I believe what you are refering to is one of the dev notes (fairly old one iirc) in which they stated that a big loot in one profession did not have an impact on loot in other professions. This was in response to people being upset because an ATH in one profession would diminish the loot pool...

    News: PSA Event Exploits

This doesn't matter at all, and I have difficulty in understanding how people think this matters at all. Deposits don't make mindark money, cycling does. Players who cycle more make mindark more money regardless of whether they deposit or not. I appreciate this post, a lot. Not because of the...

    News: CDF Resource Mayhem

I saw mining bots before I saw hunting bots. Neither is hard. Cycling ped is easy regardless of method. Choosing what to do, and when to do it is more difficult. That is however a problem that can be solved by just throwing more money at it.

    Question: Skill scanner?

Shortblades is 25%, Anatomy is 20%, melee combat is 5% and inflict melee damage is 5%

    Ancient Greece Shares

I really do not understand what you are trying to say here? A share sale is sale of future revenue for liquidity "now". Any unsold share supposedly belongs to the original owner of the property, in this case NI. Any revenue generated that would have been paid out to the owners of the shares if...

Entropia hunter - a statistics tool for hunting

Probably referring to the damage over time effect that is slightly problematic to track automatically (since you incur cost once and get several damage outputs)

Info: ttd shrap and no peds received

Yes, and I am surprised that people aren't doing this given how often errors occur. Every transaction is a monetary transaction. Keep track of your money, folks.
