Some news about the progress...
I have moved the Chipping Optimizer to a new host. Note that the domain and the URLs of the apps are totally different now. The Chipping Optimizer is now here:
https://entropia.eu.org/optimizer/
So, if you want, you can test it and see if everything works fine there. All existing user/pwd's of people having an account should work fine there; if they don't work for you, please let me know.
Then, for the Skill Scanner, I have a half-working version (meaning that it works fine for my own scans but it may not be accurate enough to work fine with other people's graphic setup).
If you would like to help, it would be great if you can send me screenshots of your skills (of course, for my own usage, they will not be shared with anyone else). If so, this is what i'd need:
- Set the image controls of EU (alpha, brightness, etc.) to the
default value in the EU graphic options
- If this is important for you, make sure that your PED balance is not visible in the EU desktop
- Make sure the skill panel is in "foreground"; this can be noticed because it has a kind of red frame/line around the skill panel (when the skill panel is in background, the frame is gray, instead of red. This is crucial, because the scanner uses the red frame to locate the skill window withing the EU desktop
- Take a screenshot of the skill window; if you use the EU built-in screen captures, make sure that they are saved in
PNG format (they cannot be in JPG format since the compression of JPG makes it much harder to OCR the images). I have been told that, by default, EU saves them as JPG, so please, change the default format and set it to PNG.
- Take as many captures as you can (ideally, of all your skill windows)
- Zip the whole set and send it to
jdegre@gmail.com
Thanks in advance!!
