My humble opinion is that Mining is in worst state from the beginning of the game. It is terrible for the new players. And simply not fun. Which is the most important aspect at least for me. Making more then 1000 drops with no multipliers at all it is anything then fun.

MindArk doesn´t care much about mining, was clear when Epb was introduced. They changed how mining returns work a couple of times from 2015 if I am not mistaken, without any real player feedback. Way lees multipliers and bigger ones when/if you get them etc. All written above hurt the newbie...

Dont know from where you found that 200+- m range while I found ores 1000 m deep with f-105 no enhancers. Im lvl 43 prospector 42 surveyor and bought ziplex b40 and have 8/8 uses in prospecting and 7/8 for enmaters deepth of course is not maxed either. I can say that i had profit using it but...
