Well it's a anthropology Phd and I don't really want to get into arguments about the merits of the anthropology as field here - but I do think peoples experiences of and reactions to a product/circumstance/event is a valid area of research and I know its something companies/governments/employers...

Usually a minimum of 3 years (in my case 1 yr prep, 1yr fieldwork & 1 yr writing) so I'm hoping to be finished end of 2013.
