Due to the amount of time i spend on this forum i see alot of peoples banners and i really like the layouts and the professionalism of some of them. So i was woundering what software people use to make them and also how you get a picture of a mob on your banner.. For example the distrub ones have an argo hanging over the banenr..

Well, I'm deffo no pro, but I do enjoy making my siggys.

I use a range of tools for mine.

To make it look transparent, I just colour the background the same as the EF background, rather than making it actually transparent.

To find out what colour the background is, I use this tool. Hex Colour Finder

I usually just use Google to get my images, such as my hand-cuffs in my latest siggy.

If I want some text in it, I use this great site... http://cooltext.com/

And to put em all together, I use Paint Shop Pro v9.1

alot can be done with MS paint -upload the image you want to alter

Visio and photoshop are also great programs to play around with

Tuffkid made most of the ones for the NBK... he loves to make them, also he is 16 IRL and could use some help with PED so if you want him to make you one I'm sure that you could work something out
