Where are the big shared loot mobs atm? Entropy the Purger, Charybdis, etc.

There is at least one (probably several) custom chat channels devoted to shared loot.

You might want to try /listchannels shar

You can also ask in #waveevents, hunters in this channel have a fairly good knowledge about all shared mobs and wavespawns.
