Has anyone gotten so lucky to get a shop pad from the ambu.. like i have been trying for 5 weeks spent over 3k ped and still have not found one. and im talking about found one in like the past 3 months?

As a moderator of the Creatures subforum, I've moved this thread to the Hunting subforum. Before the forum migration only moderators could create new threads in Creatures. I'm checking with 711 whether it is possible to have this functionality with the new software. If you have a question or comment to do with a specific mob, you should post them in that mob's thread, so in this case in the Ambulimax thread. I don't appear to have the power to move the post into that thread, however.

In answer to your question, the Shopkeeper Pad is a rare item. Getting one within a 3k PED cycle is extremely unlikely. You could easily cycle 300k PED and still not get one.

You can check the shopkeeper pad loot's at EL, its rare loot, so its tracked.
There were 12 looted this year, and 20 were looted last year.
So average is under 2 / month.

So maybe its better to check daily if any was looted, and when you see 1 on rare loot HOF list, start hunting the mob for a few days and pray.
But probably you will be there for a week without any luck, 1 guy will show up, kill 2, and the 2nd will drop him the shopkeeper :)

Ofc i cant check if these were ambu or atrax or snablesnot, mostly you cant check it even that day in EL, because shopkeeper can be looted in a 2-3ped mini, ofc it will be HOF, but for rare item, no hunting global, so its not appear in the profile of the hunter.

Several of them weren't even on calypso.
 
You shouldn't really be surprised if you cycle hundreds of thousands of PEDs without finding anything. Just keep that in mind as you go. But, yeah, that's a rare item.
 
Pads are a very rare Item, and 3K Peds are nothing, in this World :D spend a few Hundred Kilo Ped and we can talk again ;)
Be adviced: It´s cheaper, to buy the Pad, than to try to loot it......

oof. on a related note, do snarksnot still drop shop pads? if so, that might be an easier alternative to ambus if we're talking about ped bankroll and continuing to seriously hunt for it.
 
Yes, they can drop, i remember 1 i checked but maybe it was half years ago or more.
 
I did the Ambu mission and much more until they went cold. I bet I cycled 50K + during that time and never got one. Either you are lucky or not and 3K or 300K it is just luck. I did get a couple of mannequins (don't remember where but that was close as I got.
 
In over 12 years and hundreds of thousands of ped I got one rare item, an UL helmet ( it was new part of a new armor set) which I sold for just over 3500 ped. I would say that makes me down only 5M ped LOL
