Help: How does a shopkeeper work?

Hope this is the right section for it.

So I've got a landarea and hopefully soon a shopkeeper and I already know that it decays 10 pec per use so here are my questions about the stuff I don't know


1.) Does it cost me to place items?
2.) Does is cost me to remove items?
3.) Do I get messages when something is sold?
4.) How many shopkeepers can one place on a Landarea (or on the shed on a Landarea?)
5.) Can I place shopkeepers inside the shed as well?
6.) Can I pick up the shopkeeper with items in and repair it ?
7.) Have I forgotten anything important about shopkeepers ?????

4.) How many shopkeepers can one place on a Landarea (or on the shed on a Landarea?) Depends on the number of item points you have available. Each shopkeeper uses 6 item points. So, divide the number of number of outside item points by 6.
5.) Can I place shopkeepers inside the shed as well? See Answer 5
6.) Can I pick up the shopkeeper with items in and repair it ? Yes
7.) Have I forgotten anything important about shopkeepers ????? If you think of anything else, just ask.

It states 50 item points inside (so could place shopkeepers there, or?)

Not sure about outside item points, need to check that when home tonight ...

50/6 = max of 8 shopkeepers inside - and that's assuming you dont want any signage to make it easier for your customers. I suggest you use at least 1 of the remaining 2 points for lighting.
