How does tier increase work?

I hunted combibos at swamp camp for 1 hour with opalo SGA Edition.. in 1 hour I never got tier increase.. then got 0.2.. 3 hits later 0.3 ... and 1 combibo later (about 20 hits) later, got 0.4 ...

anyone can explain? lol

Its the random tier rates on ur opalo..

I noticed only at 0.3 then it jumped after a while to 0.6 then after a while to 0.8 then ver quickly to 0.9.

Guess what??
