So you try to do the highest risk activities in the game with a tiny, tiny bankroll for it and are surprised you don't instantly hit jackpot every time?

You think a 1k PEDs budget for hunting atrox is enough PEDs cycled to guarantee anything? Or 2k PEDs in the highest risk possible mining setup?

You didn't even get 500 loot attempts on either of those activities with that budget. And I'm not saying 500 is nowhere near enough, either.

Hi,

Play this game as paid for entertainment, the rest is bullshit, even Strash makes in an entire year at present what I earn in less than a month IRL working - When I was working that is, retired now.

This the way entropia is designed.
To have fun, to profit or lose a little or to gamble and lose big or win big - Mainly lose.

That is about it, unless you have 100K USD to deposit and buy ROI style investments ingame, eg. Good LA or CLDs then your kidding yourself - Even then the money earned is very poor unless you have a lot of 100's of thousands invested and IRL there are way better investments that pay more - Hell my local bank pays better dividends than 99.9% of the ROI available in this game.

that 1k ped at trox has just an example. i played 1 week 2-3k of ped ammo at them and dind't take nothing bigger that 248 and some other globals but also big loose. i remember only 1 round + 200 ped that was in 4 day of hunt. not only 1k at them maby many k of peds. i don't wanna take ath now but when all people take hofs at trox 400--500-1k ped my biigest was 250 ped.

Stop chasing swirlies. Other people's swirlies are NOT an indicator of profit, and just like a casino, you will NEVER profit long term only playing the games the casino offers.

The difference with this game is that you can sell what you loot for more money to other players. THIS is where you can make a profit, or at least mitigate your losses. Spend as little in markup as you can, and maximize what you can get back from selling. DO NOT sell any loot to the trade terminal. If there is a market for the item, you must try to sell it. List it for 7 days, set a starting bid that covers the auction fee and then set a fair buyout price. An overwhelming majority of my items that I list this way end up selling. They may not sell for "market value" but it gives me more PEDs then I had before, so it is worth it.

You also have to be patient. Spending too much in markup for your gear and then selling all your loot to the TT so you can get back to playing again is a losing strategy. The auction is a game all to itself and by playing it that way, you're losing on the buying AND the selling side. Bye bye deposit. You may not like placing a bid and waiting for your gear, and you may not like listing an item and waiting for it to sell, but that's part of the game. Find another game to play while you wait. Find another activity to do in game while you wait. If you have gear to go mining, do that while you search for a good deal on your next hunting gear. Always be one step ahead. If you are playing this game with the hopes of profiting, you have to play it this way. Otherwise it's going to cost you, as you have clearly found out.

I think this is faulty thinking caused by the HOF notice mechanism in the chat window. Not all atrox hunters are getting big HOFs. Some do, but many more don't.

in 1 year make many many depo and my gived me largest loot at hunt 600 ped at mining 2k and at craft 2k in 1 year largest. someone can tell me how many peds should i depozit to take a nice loot because " have money and don't know what to do with them") . honest now the game is fucked up and i'm really really disapointed about it. if u people have better luck teach me how to take a nice loot. ty all and here is my depo list to see were go my money.

Well, in merely one year, your HOFs in mining and crafting already surpass my best in *10* years of playing. I've never had an uber. So, I don't have much sympathy for you.

FYI there is NO direct link between loot and deposits. MA have stated this before.

Therefore how much you deposit does NOT effect the loot algorithm

I have some opposite observations. Most my Dyneras HoF's over 10K peds and all over 25K peds were after big depo in order to get materials. IN some cases depo amount wasnt consumed before i got nice UBER loot.

ALso my hunting ATH was next day I made biggest depo in my life. All money from that depo went into MU ( i was creating Proteron DNA at that time ) so seems i got cimpensated somehow for unnusual lost if value of my ped card. However even ATH was like 10-15% compensation. Some may call it welcome back HoF.

When people depo, they tend to do things they normally dont do, thus getting results that are either triggered by the activity OR, just a stroke of luck.

Converting IRL ,money to PEDS just adds ped to your card, nothing more, lootsystem care not for how much you depo.

I have money and want a HOF ( must like the OP), If I knew that if I depo 200 USD I would get 1K HOF I would have depoed that, knowing all together that if I depo small amounts like 20 USD will do me no good

I also had 8K Levi after 300 USD depo ( biggest ever) made by mistake I was hunting Levi well before that depo and haven;t changed gun or something else after depo ...so maybe just lucky...

Yes , in a philosophical aspect the depo affect loot, however in technical it does not, and never will.

MA has stated this many times.

2012 have been worst year ever,
ma keep communicating saying they improve thing, but the only thing they improve is their profit, which is based on a lesser income, so the return is terrible for us players.

i really hope tenth event will change something, as sga had when is happens, coz as it is now the game is not worth playing

btw: crafting dyneras is stupid, on your own case you are the only one guilty about ur loss
