Dear MA, quote from the MM rules below
Highest Single Loot Bonus - The participant who scores the highest single loot on each of the various Merry Mayhem creatures outlined above will receive a 25% boost to their final 30-hour normalized score!
This is yet again written so that it can be interpreted in at least 3 different ways, please clarify asap.
  1. "the participant" - so there is only one person who gets the bonus? One per creature type? How to understand the HSL (I know MindArk officials already stated that HSL can be only understood one way, yet repeating it wouldn't hurt right)? Highest per mob type, highest overall? Does "participant" means it only applies to "solo" mode? Or teams as well?
  2. "outlined above" - there are two lists above, one 3 mob types based on points regardless of category, and another one which lists 30 mob types (or 15 depending if teams are included)
Seems you didn't learn a lot from past "HSL" rules...

you could even read it as if its mandatory to get hsl on all 3 mobs for some1 to get the bonus, else they should have worded it "'The participant who scores the highest single loot on ANY ONE of the various Merry Mayhem

it is indeed open to various interpretations, and the worst vagueness is wether it applies for teams or just solo

when i used to play poker/ casinobonuswhoring i always read the rules very carefully, and these rules are pretty badly worded :p

I agree, MA continues to make descriptive history.

Personally I would like to see one thing added to the HSL portion.

You cannot get the bonus if you would be placed as a top 10 finisher.

I dont see why we are rewarding people with higher places/prizes who already get something out of it (HSL is basically a free ticket already). Its like winning the lotto and then getting another check for winning.

Id much rather see a 13th place finisher come in and win a prize due to HSL, than two winners swapping prizes.

Hmm... Seems pretty clear to me. :scratch2:

Only thing I'm not completely sure about, is the team categories, but my guess is this rule only applies to solo instances.

I think its a little confusing but team will definitely be included...

...because T,1; T, 2; T, 3 etc are all 'different' mobs...rules say 'each mob'...the only question is will the person who did most damage and received killpoint get 25% SHL bonus or all members of team i suggest latter would make sense and be best for all...
