oreamp 103(L) vs oreamp 104(L)

hey everyone.

So im a newbie miner , level 14 prospector and i was wondering wich amp should i use?

I have only made 3 runs with OA104(L), made profit on 2 lost a lot in the other one.

Can anyone explain me a bit the use of amps?
cause i don´t get it totaly.

a OA104 can be used for how many bombs?
how about the OA103?



and how mutch does each amply the find?

if i whould find a claim V (poor) with OA103(L) how mutch whould it be?
and the same claim ith the OA104(L)?

The only thing amplifiers do is allow you to cycle more PED within the same time as you were not using amps.

This also means that you have bigger risk to lose and bigger chance to win. (Like lose much and win much)

As far as the OA-103 goes, it is 3x dropping a normal bomb, you drop a bomb and it adds 2 PED decay = 3PED total. Unamped is 1 PED.
So your claims will on average be 3x larger than using no amps.

Example:
Without amp: Small (V) (4PED TT)
With 103 amp: Small (V) (4PED TT) multiply by 3 = Ample (IX) (12PED TT)

In my own experience, and judging from my recorded runs, the profit and loss is 3x bigger when using 103 amps.

I'm most certain that same goes for the 104 only with different decay, different multiplier.

The problem you will probably run into is the increasing markup on the amps, the higher you go. Making it harder to break even with bigger amps unless you know what spots to mine.
