I have 2 of these pets that I got from forest battles. Both of them are messed up. Can't train in gym because that is the screen. It wants you to level the pet up and it has no stats at all and the small window image is empty. When trying to do Forest Battles with them to level them up the stats are

You start the battle anyway and there is no animations and it is hard to tell anything. I just click when my stuff lights up. lol But The only animation I see is when I win (keep in mind you see no damage points or nothing so you can't tell how you are doing) It looks like you get XP but reflects nothing.
