Pet Tamer: WRONG

I have an ancient pet from 2007 that is older than my account by 5 years, how did I tame it? I got it AFTER the update when I knew what it was already. Shouldn't it be tamed by the person who tamed it, or at least the one who had it when it 'renewed' and traded it to me?

I guess if the person who did tame is not active and their account has been deleted, then it may have defaulted back to current owner when they first populated all of this information.

I bought it from the original owner AFTER the update and he still plays.

The tamer box just says the name of the current owner, not whoever tamed it in the first place.
