Pilots and passengers alike, please take note of this bug.
I was attempting to make a flight up to CP with a booked group of passengers.
I got into my seat and activated the HUD and everything was going well until the flight roster was completed and I closed the HUD with the (X) button on the bottom right of the HUD display.
The HUD closed, but it didn't de-activate. I then tried to access the seat again to make the flight and was unable to access the seat or the HUD.
I am now completely unable to use my ship until MA corrects the problem.
Be careful. When you de-activate the HUD, make sure you "Stand" up before walking away... this seems to be the only way to de-activate the HUD, but for me it only worked 2 out of 5 times I tried it in different seats.
I've filed support case to MA, but I wanted to warn other pilots of this issue as well. I will update as soon as I get a reply from MA.
