Project Entropia - January 16, 2002

Nice find... I enjoy seeing the Project Entropia past. Thanks!

Fun reading indeed!

And so far EU follows the plan MA once made up it seems. Perhaps with a small question mark about the ability to profit... ;)

But the most fun part of that article was not about PE..

"The audience for online role playing games has been slowing over the past year as gamers have reached the saturation point. "Everquest" has 410,000 players, but Microsoft's entry in the field - "Asheron's Call" - only has around 100,000 players, according to an estimate in PC Gamer magazine."

''Plans are also underway for auctions of equipment and, after a few years, perhaps even in-game casinos (the minimum age to play "Project Entropia" will be 18). ''

...quoted from that article.

I love this part too.

Oh I don't think so, I"m sure MA has found it quite easy to profit.

Oh were you saying for us to profit? :ahh:

I agree. I have noticed lately it seems mobs are hitting a fraction bit more, and a bit faster. Nothing like a little bit of creativity to increase the rate at which our items wear out.

that one is going on my entropia.startpagina.nl :)
