Question about Neurobiotic Boosters

I have not used any of the long lasting chips, actually I think I have on used one and it was over in 15 minutes. Anyway I see that some of the boosters last 5 to 10 hours. Just so I am sure these boosters, like the loot pill, you can log out and come back and still have the un-used time. Another words if you die or log off or get DCed you still have the remaining time when you log back in.
I know this is kind of a dumb question but as you can see I don't really trust MA's good intentions.

Correct on all counts. Skill boost pills persist through logout, death, etc.

You can log and come back the next day and still you have the remain time of boost
Also death isn't cost you anything
