Actually it looks like this one is another TT food item.
Maybe someone find a useage for it soon.
I am sure some are experimenting with it.

Anyways I would keep it, maybe MA introduces more shroom guys that make use for rotten mushrooms aswell.

My theory: They originally planned to have a third upgrade option in the shroom guy (EK-1000 for example), subsequently decided to remove that option but forgot to take the rotten mushrooms out of the loot.
