screen capture device

Hay guys I'm looking for a free program to use for screen shots and videos. I'm currently running windows 8 so I can take anything. All help is appreciated.

Fraps is best even though it's not free ;p

I use clip2net for my work , maybe it works for EU ? It allows you to save a captured screen area to a file or put the capture on the clipboard on the free version.

edit , it doesnt do videos though . Thats probably a fraps job (or camtasia if your feeling adventurous)

FRAPS Is Free there is also a paid version which is much better and after u have paid once All updates are free

I was hoping for a free version. only need it for some small stuff.
