The second option yields more profit, If sold on the streets, although requires a "capital" to buy Nexus with. (Selling via auction requires extra payment to the auction. 50 PEC + 5% If not sold on buyout.)

I may or may not have calculated it out myself at the time of posting the previous message, as I did not quite understand how everything works, and how much decay there would be.
But now I have ready made Mind Essence waiting for a buyer, and once I sell it I have made a quite nice profit.
I have 35 PED in money and different items. It may not be much, but at least I have got it up and running.
