Question: Tiering Costs

The cost of tiering items in many cases is way too high relative to the value of the item. Over the past several years since tiering was introduced, the market value of many unlimited items has dropped 50-75%, yet the tiering costs remain the same. Also, the tiering cost of some of the newer, high efficiency items is astronomical.

Question: Could you possibly make major reductions in tiering costs so that they make more sense and more people could afford to tier their items?

I think doing this would actually increase ped spent on tiering across all players rather than far fewer players tiering at a high cost.

(side note: the drop rates of various tiering components and gemstones is very unbalanced)

We are aware that tiering costs and the tiering system in general need to be reviewed, and possibly adjust aspects of it to better fit the current state of the universe. Many systems have changed substantially since tiering was first implemented.

Unfortunately we cannot give a firm time frame on when such changes might be implemented.
