Un-amped mining loot comparing 2008-2017

Hello all ,

So I mostly mine ores unamped, very rarely that I mine amped and if I do it's just a pure gamble in Foma or Hell.

Here are some of my top hofs (statistics from entropia life) since 2008 (most of the finds were un-amped):

There were multiple globals in between, but these are not worth posting. Sadly entropia life did not track pre-2008 I think as it is missing at least one that was around 900 ped Alferix.

As you can see the most common hofs were always 200-300 Ped and then in between ''Uber'' ones like 900 ped over 1k ped or at least over 400 ped.

So I am just thinking if it is still possible to hit the lucky uber without amps? Some of you might think that I was ''lucky'' so far in 2017, but believe me with current mining loot system few hofs that you get can go back to loot pool really fast.

Do YOU miners get un-amped ubers still in 2017 ? Please share your thoughts!

Woot, there is still hope! Gratz by the way The only thing is that in the past once I hofed the I immediately looked into chat window and hoped for a four digit number, but as you can see now its like maaah...

One of my best mining runs yet. On Calypso all 3 hofs are in 130ped range. I personally think there could be a extremely rare chance to hit 2k after seeing someone recently hit a 7k kerbie gaurdian I believe anything is possible.

Do you often mine? I mean is mining your primary profession. As I noticed that If you do mine rarely and decide to do 100-200 ped run, there is a big chance you will profit

I mostly hunt but every Saturday I do a 200-300ped mining run. Mainly I find it relaxing when hunting gets to be a drag. Im trying to work my way up to f-105 and i wish i could figure out how to get that bp myself. I would like to do mining full time but im just not ready for that just yet.

waste of time ...since they added amps i used them

had 37k with lvl5 on planet, with this new mining system best i got with lvl5 l30 was 3800 tt

Not really sure what you mean hear. ''Waste of time'' is for un-amped mining? If so, well not every one can afford amped mining, even if it's low level amps.

I miss different tools for mining ores/enmatters, I miss the ground terrain going black once bomb is detonated, I miss the mini shaking after probe/bomb detonates, I miss the ''strange signal'' and of course the loot... ooh man MA ruined mining

5 or 6 digit unamped mining is impossible since jan 2013. the death of the fun and thrill in mining.

My two best Hofs were 1004 kaz on 5 June 2014 and 1418 Vedacore on 27th June 2017. Mining since 2013 and I only mine unamped.
