Make way, Zambian kwacha. There's a hot new exotic currency on the market, only it's not from any country on earth—at least not one in the material world.

Good article on the future and shows that MA is ahead of the game with it's banking license...now if we can only get ped unlinked to the dollar to a currency that has a future to match ours...or maybe value of the dollar should be tied to the ped...

alright then, I can't wait to go to my local KFC and buy myself a family feast for 300ped.

Oh good, maybe when the world realizes how much money and power MA has rolling around in here, the world will step up and provide regulation.

Oh the look on MA management when they realize "Oh god, we can't abuse our players anymore...we have to follow rules and good business practices...."

So satisfying...

MA business model...

"it puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again"

sadly I kind of like it. JK! ! ! I need thearpy... hell I think everything that plays this game and enjoys it probably has a sadistic side to them.

1 tie the dollar to the ped.

2 make obama CEO of ISIS Corp.

3 Make ISIS Corp run USA

hehehe :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
I think I better place my Order early for a Family meal of Popeys Chicken with extra Mash potatoes. That way when it arrives i will have the peds to pay for it.:laugh:

good things ahead...but MA have to move a litle faster Mr. Bot...soon this market(RealEconomy RCE) will go to bigger ears:)..

oh would be nice if I can exchange my hard earned Lindens to Peds ...
then I can resell more dungs at TP
and then use the profit buy a big fat cheese burger around the corner. :yay:

hmm oh.. need to resell 10000000 dungs to buy one burger darn....

Well it's a bit exagerated... all these currencies are not real.. they are bound to the dollar or any other currency. The Exchange rates are fixed.. so they are no real new currencies, they are just another label in another dimension... we could show a USD balance on our PED card, it would not make a difference at all ..

The game's 1 million users now buy and sell land, ...

Well, at least they did some fact-checking...

This article got me woundering about a strange difference here.

A "real" currency is linked to a virtual value of an item. For example real oil doesn't have a TT value while the virtual oil has have a fixed value(at least lowest value) using the TT.
In real world a loaf of bread can cost 1 EURO in the shop one day, but I can't come back a week later and get my money back.

Isn't it strange that the real currency is totally virtual whilst the virtual currency is real?

? something or someone is revitalising this old thread lol ?

It's alive! alive !!!

Well, that's not entirely true. Our country's currency, for example, is tied directly to Euro at a fixed exchanged rate. Before this it was tied to USD. But nevertheless it's as real as you can get. And i think it's not the only example in the world.

Actually, there are 56 more currencies with a fixed exchanged rate. Therefore your argument is null and void.

Peds are like those chips in a casino , only exchangeable to real world currency at the casino exchange centres.
