Supremacy Reign.
Alarm clock change worked.
Have no time in the morning to miss smoking, which was the idea. As long as I have something to do I am OK, as I can ignore the brief craving, and then carry on wwhith what I was doing.

Now I: Get up, <censored>, have shower, get dressed, go. Arrive at work at an early, but not half an hour early, time.

I have noticed (as well as the improved early morning breathing) that I seem to be sleeping slightly better generally than I used to. Nicotine is a stimulant after all, so I guess that explains It.
I won't say I am waking "well rested and feeling on top of the world" though.
One might compare it to waking up with a hangover, and now I wake up without one. Only it was smoking induced, rather than alcohol induced.

Finding I have to keep re-reading all my entries, to remind myself of the positive effects I am feeling, to keep myself motivated. It's not that the negative effects are that bad, just that it is so easy to forget that just over a week ago I had freezing feet all the time....
But then that is why I started this, so I could keep myself motivated.
