Supremacy Reign.
SO far today was far easier than any day yet.
Support from a caring best-friend who comes to visit workes wonders and also keeps your mind off the fags, even if only for one day.

I can now understand why friends/collegues who have non-smoking partners have managed to quit- they had support from someone who not only wants the smoker to quit, but the smoker also wants to quit for the partner as well as for them self. It's a treble reason to succeed.

Noticed today two changes that probably took place a while ago.
1. My heart is not trying to burst out my chest and run off any more. It seems slower, and the beat seems to be less strong. Another positive improvement.

2. I used to get a regular "tickley cough". Could not stop coughing, eyes watering, could not talk, feeling like I had a cramp in throat. Not had it since I stopped smoking. Not once! One more reason to stay stopped!
