Crafting Question

do any of the crafting components even have any use and if so, Which componemts and what are there uses. OR is makeing electrical metal and mechanical parts just totally useless?

atm only a couple types of components are used as parts for spaceships.
In future hopefully (and probably) more of them will be used.
So far they are just excelent skilling bp's, but you can't sell the products.
