Frankly, I don't care who loots it. I hope that it is completely random.... as in, MA chose the mob and location, but whoever gets it gets it ;)

no offence, but if it were a crap shotgun worth 100k i would be the first to dump it in a tt and withdraw the peds
 
B/c of the high profile for the item, I would imagine that if any1 did TT the thing, MA would find out immediately, recover it, and put it back into loot ;)

Actually, I doubt MA would do that, seeing as how it would likely happen again, losing quite a bit of money for MA in the long run. ;)

The TT won't be too high because of this in my opinion, or else everybody would just keep dumping it in the TT. And if they did, I'm sure MA would be very hesitant on putting it back in loots without modifying the TT in some way or another.

:confused: Why is it 'likely" to happen again? It would be very odd imo if such an item was tt'd, and I suspect that this item will be well-marked or titled so that any1 with a brain who loots it would not tt it.
If it were to be tt'd, however, I would speculate that MA would just get it out of tt and redistribute it... this costs them nothing :silly2:

In any event, as I stated b4 I am quite curious to see if any1 ever loots this item... it might take yrs for it to be found (if we are to assume it even exists) :laugh:

the point was that "if" people did TT it and "if" MA put it back out and "if" the cycle kept repeating itself....lot of ifs...then MA would be losing a bunch of money. every time it was TTed those people could withdraw the funds.

this assumes it will have a very high TT value, which does seem plausible since MA has stated flat out that it is going to be the most valuable thing ever. it would be hard to make that claim based on future market value. well, not hard, impossible.

IF this is true.... <MA loosing money> ... why MA give us 1.5k-2k loots every day?
Even if they put the item back in the game you will not be able to find it so often. And everybody will be looking for the item so it will not be MA loosing money , but it will be MA winning money.

That's a simple question to answer, rhetorical or not - they give us that much in loot a day because we probably deposit quite a bit more than that every day. ;)

EBN UPDATE: The bizarre billionaire slaying

She continues, “The only trace at the site were smudged wet Atrox tracks leading away inland. We haven’t been able to determine the age of the tracks yet, but the wetness indicates sea movement of some sort.”

According to other sources EBN have spoken to, the Atrox population seems increased, almost like being on an amplified development pace. This is alarming if someone indeed has been altering the DNA of the native Calypso creatures.

Earth authorities have as of yet no official response, but a Federal Investigation Response Emergency Squad is probably coming to Calypso in the near future.
 
Hmm, "Wet Atrox tracks", does that mean that the Atroxes from across the water at the Hogglo grounds came over to Ithaca Island and slayed him there ? Then went back across the water ?

Is it the Olds, Guardians and Adult Atroxes across the water ?
Or/and did the Hogglo eat the Atrox so it's now a Hogglo carrying the Weapon ?

Or did the Atrox poop it and a Fugabarba ate the Atrox poop so it's now a Fugabarba carrying the Weapon ?

maybe some atrox developed gills - every atrox ive seen that goes it water drops dead after 20 seconds :D
 
could be but the tracks lead inland - so me thinks it might be an atrox/fish hybrid (ie a reptile). Most obvious answer would be a croc or gator.
 
Yeah, I would expect to see some strange Atrox-type animal that can go in water as well.

The unique weapon is probably in a unique animal. :)
 
At least MA added some Atrox Stalkers around Ithaca for some while before server restart.

Amphibious atrox might be neat... a loch ness monster :silly2:
 
Maybe there will be more reports and maybe they add more/new mobs somewhere?

Hes DNA was fubar. The revival terminal need your DNA profile to be intact :)

Basicly i believe some mobs are getting tougher and as Essi pointed out, loads of Troxie Stalkers around now cant be a bad thing!

Well i would say mobs are harder already.... Ive never been rubberbanding as much as i do in ithaca coz of the lag.... And so does the mobs... :D
 
If its any mob that can drop the unique item in current VU it should be Atrox Stalker since I havent seen a hof on them in months,almost a year and when they hofed it was always a few atrox hides and peds. No real items :tongue2:

But,I still think its gonna take some months before it drops though :dunce:
 
I've been all round ithaca island this morning and the only thing i found that may resemble tracks were around 6266x22013

From what I've seen of the story (DNA, something at sea, atrox) I would assume that a new mob is about to appear - maybe one that will come regularly.
Maybe a croc or gator as it seems the most logical thing with tracks leading inland and all the talk of the atrox population.

I guess this thing will be rock hard to kill so most likely a team will get it as decoys no longer work.

I also think there is no point looking for this mob until another announcment that will say "giant lemming discovered blah blah" at which point 10,000 people will flock to ithaca, lag out the servers and some ubers will kill it :laugh:

aren't conspiricy theories great :wise:
