Unfortunally, if i get Alf's answers right, they are currently nowhere
near where i thought they were with the CE2.
I got the impression from the interview that they have just
only now started making the map.
If that is so, forget CE2 in 2008.
I hope i got it wrong though cuz i can't wait to see it.

He only said that it will will still take several months, but from what slipped out it will not be more than 6 months (great way from Dion to ask a question btw...very psychological :D ).

im not sure it materially effects the given general target of Summer 2008 (so as late as August), but it certainly scotches the rumour they are testing anything anywhere near finished. sound likes there is fundemental engineering to cryengine2 required to make it work as a platform for EU. Its way more involved than out of the box, drop in some reworked graphics and release.

Too bad about the timeline for CE2. It's not too surprising, but i guess i got overly optimistic about MA's predictions. :laugh:

I'll get to listen to blasted thing finally this evening.
