What a wonderful night as a Man U supporter!! Who's with me!? :D

:yay:

As a West Ham fan, we´ll, the only thing that bothers me is why
we coulndt have keept all of thoose "old" players, on both the teams ;)

But boy, what a game! Great match, United had the first half totally,
but must say that Chelsea made up for it in the second.

Great match, and gratz to United =)

Mate, it was EPIC :D

What a match, gg Chelsea but Manchester United are the Champions of Europe once again!

Hate them both, but love football. Great game and rofl @ Ronaldo, what a dick :D

was there football on tonight? :scratch2:

I was watching the apprentice - Raith got fired :(

great game and it was great to see ronaldo get blocked and cry.

I didn't watch this and I can't say I care. There was a time when I enjoyed European football, but these days it has as much relevance, as a sporting spectacle, as WWF or It's A Knockout.

I'm sure it made a good television programme though, which appears to be all that matters these days. I guess the sponsors and advertisers were very happy.

Wake me up when there are players with passion, who are more interested in football than they are in maximising sponsorship opportunities and appearing in Heat magazine.

The only loser in this match was football. And anyone who paid to watch it.

On the plus side, at least the 'Champions League' has been won by a team that were actually champions, for once.

good game. shame the shit diving, whining Drogba turned up, might have been different if the skillfull one did. laughed my arse off when Ronaldo was saved, desvered that for gamesmanship on the run up, as did Anelka for clearly not having the courage for the job.

Stab in the dark here, Leeds Utd supporter? :D

As a portuguese person, i'm glad for Ronaldo being champion, he missed a penaltie, so what? who scored the 1-1 goal? who made manchester get into the penalties by making the score equal? Go Ronaldo

Certainly not.

I used to be a Newcastle United supporter, until it became clear that providing entertainment for the fans was secondary (by a long way) to making a profit for the shareholders.

The last straw was when one player was dropped from the team after mildly criticising the club, on the same day that another was reinstated despite having physically assaulted his team-mate.

I think that was the last time I watched a professional club match. Nowadays I only bother with amateur and youth matches.

He truely is one of the best players in the world.
Will be interresting to see what Portugal can do in the EURO 2008.

Yup,can't wait to see what is coming there....

I have to admit I didn't even know this was on, but I'm delighted to hear Man U won since my Dad, who passed away last year, was a passionate supporter of theirs so I bet he was swearing at opportune moments and cheering them on from above :D

bugger all, same as spain and holland. those three teams aways underperform at the tournements.

pfft. hate both teams who played... can you guess where im from lol.

yeah, he can become a good player, only if he'll be preoccupied more about ball and not his hair, during the match

Nice to see there are some football folks in this community :)

Hehe, I should have known this would bring up some comments on Ronaldo. That guy sure stirs up emotions. I think noone can deny that he is one damn good player though ;)

Well, without passion, the top players wouldn't have been where they are. With all the training sessions they go through, I would say passion is absolutely needed to be able to reach the top today.

How can you hate a team playing so good football

And all this shit about Ronaldo, I dont get it. Are people as always just
jelous, and cant stand that 1 man acctually sticks out on the team and
shows that he really is "all that"? Maybe not in yesterdays game, to 100%,
but he still did. And during the season, even though I havnt seen many
of Uniteds games (Westham FTW!... Oh, next year then^^) I must say
he is looking damn good (football ppl, do YOU really care about the hair?)!

It seems to me he gets the same reaction as our swedish player
Zlatan Ibrahimovics got for years, where ppl never really could accept
that he was THAT good! It took years in Ajax, Juventus AND Inter for
the swedish NewsPapers, and many "supporters" here to accept him.

And he´s deffinatly also one of the best in the world.
Even though he is a bit cocky. (I guess its just that more and more ppl
understand that these few players, are the only once that CAN be
cocky, since they ARE that good).

I doubt Portugal will win EURO 2008, but Ronaldo will kick ass, Im sure.
Im not so sure Zlatan will for sweden though... :(

Oh, btw, you CAN hate teams playing good football. But, they have to come
from Italy if so. That Mr Berlusconi team is very hatable. And Lazio...
Football and politics dont match...

And how would the match have looked if it was Milan-Inter in the final
yesterday. Would any players get cramp (no passion???), or would
the Italian players just dive in the next secuence to get some rest ;)

Long live English impassioned football!

Man Utd FTW!! back on top where we should beeee!! :D :wtg::wtg:

And there certainly was some swearing at the TV during the penalties :ahh::laugh:

Ibrahimovich world class? No chance! ;)

A lazy player that cant produce it in big games

I guess it´s not so Easy to produce worldclass goals with a fantastic
(scottish) player as Henke Larsson as only backup, and behind that mostly
shit :ahh: He has not produced in the "big" games yet, but showed big
skills this year by (as long as Inter was in) scoring most goals in the
Championship, and also, doing the most total score (oi, I know,
a bit ... like hockey..but still) in Italian league adding the goals and the assists.

Zlatan is a world player no doubt ;)
And so is this kid Ronaldo.

Portugal can back up Ronaldo alot better though.

I am a liverpool fan , but hey well done Man U.

watch out next year EL NINO is coming :D

GREECE FOR EVER!!!!!

Rawr!~ Terry....seriously slipped at critical moment rofl

Next Euro....hmmm Portugal anyone? :D

Each to there own opinion. But i have seen him in a lot of games over the years and remember him mostly for his sulking and poor attitude.

I remember him playing well against England once and getting on the score sheet. A ggod example of this is when Inter crashed out of the CL against the mighty pool. He missed countless chances, sulked and blamed matteratzzi for the defeat and was out classed by a truly world class player. Mr Fernando Torres.
