Great to see some of the regulars in here but I personally know of a few still missing from the list. So please check the list, carefully check to see if your soc mates, hunting pals or suppliers who are aussie are on the list and if not...rattle the can and get them in here....the more we have on the list the stronger we will be.

I have an event in mind for late AUG08 so please stay posted.

I am also developing some ideas for the aussie community that will be fleshed out over the next few weeks and I will be contacting those who want to be part of this but dont be shy - if you have an opportunity that shares the wealth and prosperity amongst those involved then please put it forward.

BTW - I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who took time out to respond and hope that this community that is listed will continue on. THANKS

I hope your sticking with the growing thread as we dont have a dedicated forum space for us.
Couple of things I wanted to post are:

• Interest for a dedicated forum space through a small paid subscription to enable subscribers to access aussie only information, ideas and news without those pesky euros and Americans poking their noses in...lol. The more interested and willing to throw some coin at it the cheaper it is and I can take ped as payment to cover players share. Come on, lets at least get our own patch of brown land in the forum marked out.

• I need your email for news and information and I also have the first possible business idea that has come to a state that I am happy with so please submit your email by PM - yes by PRIVATE MESSAGE!!! I will not be sending any info through the forum mail service as it has an attachment for you to review (full virus checked). I will wait to the weekend to send it out while those interested send in email adds. PLEASE DONT POST YOUR EMAIL ON FORUM THREAD...

• Is there a place where most of the aussie players hang out and an aussie player can find them? I, along with some of the aussie players will be attending the GO3 Expo in Perth as an Ambassador for the Game on the 1-3rd August 08. The scenario will be that the expo stand will attract new players who may be interested in continuing and therefore will want to try and meet same timezone and like minded players...where do we as ambassadors send them? Please have a think about that and I will post a new thread in General Discussion to harvest some of your thoughts. LETS MAKE THEM WELCOME....BE NICE!!!!

I guess there must be a few different places to find Aussies.

TI City is my home in EU. There you will regularly find:

Myself, Missa, Xaph, Grrrr, G-rant and a few others ofc including our very own Mr Treasure Island: Deathifier.

I like TI because there are apartments, shops, most of the beauticians in EU are there and the climate is very mild (you don't get too hot if you leave your armour on).

Gday Aussies,

I have updated the missing list and grouped those missing by societies and those who are freelance. Lets see if we can at least track the society members down - the easy part and keep your eyes open for the freelancers on your travels.

Any support by spamming the chat with mention of this thread is appreciated.

I am so glad to see such a number take up our call so soon and many more to come. By the weekend I will have the necessary details ready for distribution on the event and an opportunity.

If you need hosting, and can't arrange something with Neomaven here on EF, then I have some spare space and PHPBB running - currently hosts DK forums, but I'm sure with a bit of effort it could host an Aussie forum.

Sounds like a great idea Deathifier.

May want to speak to 711 Bagman first, though I am not sure if he would go for such an area being created as then it may set a trend, segregating the EF community with several country based sponsored areas on EF. /shrugs

Tbh I can see an influx of Aussie participants coming online after the G3O event in Perth. It may be something to consider to help out the many new lost aussies coming into our little universe
