High Packet Loss to MA Servers

or a French ISP/network carrier traffic shapping? several complaints from French users i take it, i wonder if you all use the same underlying network. I dont think MA's "not our problem" to Dreicc is helpfull or correct, but people need to recognise it just might not actually be MA's fault or in their power. since it doesnt seem to affect everyone it looks like a network peering issue (ie where isp connect to each other). Complain to MA but also complain to your ISP as they might be able to do somthing more.

i do and my isp has already launch investigation. But i can't do make the same with above.net it's the MA IPS not mine and seem the big prob is here, except EU i have not a single problem. The only issue is with the above.net router so maybe my isp can do something but i really doubt about that.

hi there

i have the same problem since one week

i just cant hunt , i have like 10 20 second dead time sometimes when i switch items or try to check hof or anything i do :( France / Neuf (provider))

Same thing here, hudge lags have began since a week now making it impossible to play EU, other internet apps works just fine..

( France / Neuf (provider))

same isp

another week later and nothing has changed :(

i don't know what to do, maybe i should stop wasting more time trying to play EU.....

Only cure is MA to start pushing above.net a bit harder to fix issues (above.net knows this...), or change ISP to more pro one

Almost a year since I made this thread, sigh at MA..

It rework good for me. Back from canada en it seems neuf did something. Its playable again.

notice how i go a completely different route to get to that third destination..

Im not sure if this has anything to do with it but.....

I upgraded to vista ultimate in December of 2008. After that my isp was nice enough to upgrade my connection (for no extra cost :) ) but then after a month of the upgrade I started to notice all sorts of neat little lagging.. Rubber banding.. shots going no-where and just general lag... I asked my isp and got the normal answers... " not our side.. we'll check the lines... nothing came up... must be your router... and so fourth..."

I redid my router (reset and such) still no improvement.. updated vista... still nothing... I then went all the way as to completely re-install vista.... still nothing

I just recently moved to windows 7 RC FIXED!!!!! I couldn't believe it... my comp ran like it should.. All that money I spent upgrading was then worth it!! :yay: lol

Now im not sure what exactly what happened so I am not going to even speculate. :D

So is it possible that vista had anything to do with it? Are other people with this problem running the same OS? :scratch2:

f ***** it

[due to you being in England]

which is half my point. but look more closley at the ip used in the first two and they are still the same as your hop 8 and 9, and the path to them is the same. its a peering issue, talk to your ISP as well as sumbitting to MA support.

my ISP is monopoly in the area. I could talk to wall with more success, they dont care

Is there any way to do anything manually?
