What about the fact that so far, it appears (from sources) that the only mobs to drop the rare piece are, in fact, uber mobs that require either UBER skills/weapons to solo (segs/big bulks are confirmed drops for the contraction unit), or massive teams of low~mid level players (which would pretty much require the part be sold to share, probably to afore-mentioned uber)?
This (so far) is consistent with "favor the uber, screw the noob" in terms of endgame. Sure, a few people managed to make shitloads of ped selling their looted lenses cheap at the beginning, and the other parts are still selling like ice cream on a hot august day.
But why is it that a regular hunter does not appear to have even a minimal chance of getting that item?
(and yes, this is a general whine on my part)
Beyond that, thanks for the great globals, treats and items! (especially the full TT M/L Jaguar Arms!)
