Gratz for all participants in this event. It was long and I see many of you managed to reach nice stats.
I will have the scoreboard done and see who won, and as promised in first post, I will meet all winners on 25 to give the peds each has won.

I would like - if is not too much trouble or it is not confidential - to have a post from all that participated and tell how this event was for them and how was their progress.

Was it expensive? Was it boring? Was it fun?

Can you post some stats, like total skills today, best profession you have, HP and so on... How much your avatar worth after one year, how much you deposited to get here and so on...

Such a post is not a must, but I would like to see it.
Again, gratz for all your globals!

I will make a more detailed post later, I'm on vacation and can't log into the game or get my screenshots. I certainly had fun, I was primarily a miner but participating in this contest made me rise quite a bit on the hunting side.

Overall I do believe I profited over the contest (especially if I did win a prize at the end.) I did not deposit over the year though at times I had to scrape for ped. I did well in several other contests during the course of the year which helped quite a bit. I was profiting or at least breaking even through the mining portion and hunting stages one two and three.

Stage 4 was a big hit for me. I do think the ladder ended up progressing too fast, I would have stayed on drones for a while longer had I not been doing the contest. I never did find the right mobs for myself during stage 4, I lost several K ped on Longu without scoring much of all for globals, I tried to make back that ped mining on Qetesh's contest and just lost more and more.

Stage 5 I got a lucky mining hit of over 800 peds worth of Narc that re-energized my hunting. I was also able to find the right mob for me. I chased SGA items around a whlie without major success but finally settled on miner bots. I was able to score quite a few globals on them while breaking even or profiting on at least half of my hunts. (1k ped turnover per hunt).

I didn't quite do as much crafting as I had hoped. Or, I should say, I didn't global as much as I hoped for the amount I crafted. I made my BPC unlock though and most of my crafting skills are over level 10 now. My losses weren't bad in TT value if I consider that I mined most of my resources and did not have to pay markup, but, of course, that cut into my mining profits quite a bit.

I will post my skill progress and Avatar value progress later, but I will say I did have a lot of fun and would reccomend people participate in a similar contest if BlackHawk continues it.

The only negatives were the amount of time, it ran for a year and so there were certainly times where I gave up team hunting which I enjoy to try and grind out a few more solo globals. Also, I don't think your skills quite progress fast enough so that once you hit stage 5 you are mostly fighting mobs you may not be skilled enough to handle efficiently. But, others may have found better mobs to hunt than I did.

and what can i say it was a very fun event passing from a stage to another
about the skills i think i gain around 80 k, reaching medium hp and 55 on laser hit, and same like Karmic i had no need to depozit any ped
im primary a hunter but because of the mining stage wich i finished i saw that mining is fun to , on the other side i dont realy like craftin that is not for me , lossing 2k for 10 globals and is so boring
all i can say is cheers

What can i say , it was a very fun contest, started with 25k skills on 1'st page and now i have 36k, overall i think i've gained ~60k skills, i was mainly a miner but camping for this contest was a real blast, rly fun, unfortunally tried to craft a bit more then it's healthy too and lost about 5-6k ped, mostly because of stupid crafting mistakes witch now promise i will not do ever again .
