Just because someone crafts 101 doesn't say she or he is a noob, (tho it might not be the most reasonable activity in EU ). Those people on the list are no noobs in my book. And that one often get's compensated for recent and future losses one some noobish activity is nothing new really. That's maybe what you ment anyway, but then you should say so and not call them noobs.

What is sad about that screenshot is not whether MA is giving loot to "Noobs", as seems to be your point, but how 101s (and equivlaent items), act like very expensive slot machines to some people.

I don't know any of the people in that screenshot so I don't know their story, but just remember that for every 30k+ hof on those A101s, 5 people lost 6k in a single (1-hour?) session on te same things.

How many people do you know who lose $600 gambling for one hour on a regular basis? ...

Btw. I don't blame MA for that - addicted gamblers will always find a way to their "dope" - but it still saddens me to see people throw away money like that.

I agree to 100 % with Ben. When i started a lil more then 3 years agoo Cobra was spamming the global chats, i envied him and actually spooke to him a few times as total noob to get some advises. And he was a very helpful guy for a noob like me. I played some tried all different skills mostly mining at first. Then i became addicted to hunting mainly argos. I got so much iron from them so i started to make Jesters and some other weapons. 2 Years agoo or so i almost brooke even by hunting argos and craft what ever BP i could do a few clicks on. I STILL consider me as a Noob crafter with Laser weapon engineer as my top craft skills its lvl 19 my attachment engineer skill is at 15. About a week agoo i was in Minipolis as usual clicking some textures and all of a sudden one of the Players on Ben screenshot started to global like HELL. I asked the person do you click thoose on cond ? Reply was HELL no. I scanned the ava and was in CHOCK WTF was that a TOTAL noob clicking OA 101s on Quantity a QR 40 BP. Her skills was combat all ONE Her BEST crafting was attachment enginer LVL 5 !!!!!!!!!!!! average crafting lvl 2 I got frustrated and thought HELL i give thoose dam noob amps a try, so Borrowed my friend EMW s BP with QR 100 and tried 100 clicks on quantity beside that noob, she had 9 globals and one HOF during my clicks. I had NONE Hm ok what then i tried 100 clicks on CONDITION then. She had more globals in approximatly 20 clicks. I got ONE 82 peds worth. This is VERY VERY Logical. Her lvl 5 attachment eng. and Lvl 2 AVERAGE against my lvl 15 Att. and 15 average in crafting and SHE wins. Not Only WINS it was like watching Team Canada in fucken Hockey play against a Little leauge FEMALE team. I cant complain to much over this as i STILL consider myself as a noob in crafting. But Cobra, Buzz, Ferdiad and Maximus just to mention a few. IF i where in their clothes i think a trip to Gothenburg would NOT be to far away. To GIVE away globals, HOFS and EVEN a
32 K UBER this way to TOTAL noobs. Thats a fucken INSULT to Players as them old crafters who spent TONS of PEDs and time in this "Game". Dont come and tell me loot is totally randomly distributed after seen such BULLSHIT

I've seen many people burn much more than that gambling in much less than an hour.

Honestly, I think you could crush the 101 ATH's with an ATH on some of the higher level laser sights for example. Some of you high level crafters want to try it?

Is it not also true though that far far more money is being pumped into the 101 crafting "pool" then into any of the higher level bps that are crafted? Being that anyone can craft them makes these more and more like a pure slot machine related item..

Yes you found the point Ben, skills really do not matter for much in this game and possibly make you lose more money in crafting higher than a noob that crafts 101's simply because they are cheap to manufacture and get an ATH.

1) Did you notice all the global message that was rolling by on the screen when all the other 101 crafters were failing miserably? Ah that's right, you don't get a message for that.

2) Call Gamblers Anonymous. You have a gambling problem.

For every global you see, there were 50 who didn't global.
For every ATH you see, there were many people who lost their shirt.

It's like asking only democrats who they vote on and them complain about the rigged elections when it turns our republicans also got votes somehow.

Ben is 100 % right at this one in my book. Thats how it was in Feb. 2006 when me and my fiance started this game. We looked up to you Ben and the other global spammers As Buzz for instance. The only one who actually took a break to talk to a noob like me was Ben, who gave me a goal that has become more and more impossible to reach. Back then players as you guys REALLY gave us noobs something to try reach. We belived back then that skills would be important for our succes, but sadly MA changed the rules. Lets hope there will be some changes when /IF the new planets comes.

Yepp is you read my first post in this thread I can. She had as HIGHEST skill a week agoo LVL 5 thats FIVE attachment engineer. Doesnt matter to me If that ava is an OLD Uber who might have had 500 K total skills. NOW i would guess her total was below 3 K as she didnt have one single point in combat or mining and lvl 2 TWO average in crafting.

ho it is dosent rely matter bud i cut writt lik 15 names or so ther do it all ther time and for when you take all skills out to do this

you ar a noob when you remov all skills you haw in a profisjon then you ar down to noob agin in that no matter how long you haw playt

The 101 is the cash crop of crafting , without it there wouldnt be as much loot in the pot to keep the lights burning.

There has to be a payoff to keep the noobs pouring their hard earned peds into the crapper or the well would dry up.

I do agree that its odd that a level 1 print dominates the hof boards as they do , same with the ATH board. But without the advertisement , there would be much less lettuce in the salad.
