Linux - Wine VU 10 Anyone tried yet?

My lappy runs ubuntu, it is a bit better graphics-wise than my desktop lol. Has anyone tried a linux install yet? I may give it a go this weekend if I have the time. For some reason I am kind of hopeful with this hew engine
 
let ma first fix the bugs in windows version then try linux lol
 
You could always check the winehq appdb or do a search here. Both sources will yield results.
 
I think Skull has the proper strategy
 
I had a bussy of mine that tried ubuntu + wine and got major error's. I agree, let MA fix the damn thing first.
 
Tried yesterday but damn microsoft's vc runtime wouldn't install properly (either using winetricks or by hand). I give up after 30 minutes of trying...
 
What video cards does it emulate ???
Probably som std gfx card & you are toasted running EU.

Almoust all virtializations environments running on windows platforms have crappy GFX emulation. (VmWare, Virtual PC, Hyper-V).

Don't know about Wine know though ... atleast 5 years i ran it :laugh:
