EU advert in google ads?

read again what i write...my point about shady is not that they "cheat" something.. its simply for now the separation is more on paper than it is in fact.
Its a lot more easy for someone of FPC who whant to do what ever , to speak with the MA responsible at the coffée pause , than it is for any other compagny who hold a planet...
that does not mean MA give money under the table to FPC...
It is just a fact that , for now( at least from what i know) they are still sharing the same office...
I guess in close future , when FPC will go to their new office many things will be a lot diferent for them...
I dont say its good or bad , i just say the separation between MA and FPC is for now only adminiistrative...

and , anyway , if you have nothing to say about the subject "MA,FPC make advert campaign" , it would be nice you just dont post...

When I saw the ad, it was somewhere mid-October or so. We weren't at 10.000 anymore, but we certainly were not at a point yet where one could say that the game was very stable. So I really don't blame them if they wait spending ad-money until the world is more welcoming for the new people.

but well , i think now it beggin to be stable again...hope janery will come with a real massive canpaign...
and MA did not just use the 50$ gift from google in october...

its a old wish from player...
MA did at some point make some banner but they was rather ugly than anything else... i dont think they had much success...
i did chek just now , and still no banner avaible for people who want make free advert for them...dont make sence for me...
I dont understand , why they dont prodruce some banner , and put them with the code for people to put in theyr blod , site or facebook...

I'm putting my money on January ad campagin slam from MA/FPC and maybe a new planet. :D
 
Seriously now:

It would be a good idea if MA created a banner partnership program that would track new players and paid for example 10 PED for every DEPOSITING player that clicked on the banner on your website to download EU.

Many other service providers and shops on the internet (Amazon.com for example) have such webmaster programs.

Seriously this has been talken over and over and it is definatly devastating for EU..
There are a gazzllion arguments of why not to do so, and a few pros
Try to figure out the damage done, and what happens if someone gets 10 Peds and runs out, see the motivation of new players and the money stuck in non actives. Try to figure out of how people look at Entropia after you have such a program running(ATM when I encounter a EU thread people state it as casino/scam)

That's not what he was talking about (newbies getting free stuff.)

He said there should be a program for us (people) to put a banner on our websites, and we're paied 10 PED for each person that click on our banner, makes an account and later makes a deposit.

I'm still scouring the website, but it occurs to me that MA/FPC probably does have a program to compensate planet partners for recruiting new, spending players. :p

(Now, if I could just afford a planet! :yay: Yes you have, don't pretend you haven't dreamt about such a thing yourself - you have!)

But I think I will start financing my planet by finding the details to that banner program. :) Nice, Marco!

ROFLMAO @ the pointlessness of a referal programme that no-one knows about, and therefore can't use to refer anyone. :laugh:

WE don't have this programme..or many people would use it for sure.

I hope he means it's in the works and a new feature we can look forward to.

I sometimes think that Marco once worked compiling crosswords...hence the answers usually being of very few words. :laugh:

Personally I'd have whacked some mean Shadow armour on those ads..or at least a full set somethere, it doesn't really show what EU and Calypso is about as it is. Nice to see ads though, nice to see FPC getting out there at last looking for new blood where it's most likely to be found in the community.

Planet partner allready take a share from player that go to their planet...

We speak here about something for player who how web site and whant to make advert...

well i remember that that...but starfinder did puch a lot MA to get something , and i guess back then MA didnt really think about it...



I still would like to have more info about such "program"...
i would for sure participe, and i guess many web developer who are player would give it a try...

FPC actually tested online advertising (Google, ad networks etc.) back in September and the results were quite positive. Now we're out there again for December and over the new year with a little more concentrated effort.

As for the referral program, it's being developed and in its infancy - hence the lack of publicity.

I hope to see some "massive" advert around for janery...
But why , since you make banner you dont let player to DL them and put them on their own site ?
i guess many would put even for free some advert for FPC here and there.

i did read the offer and it is very interessing.I would not be surprised if you get now many people who want register and participe to it...
 
I dunno, whenever I see one of those adverts on a page I immediately think that it's a lower grade MMO. Like those few dozen or so that are really corny and I think "who would click on that?"

I think they should start a YouTube viral marketing campaign, TBH.
