Use actual skill amount not professional levels.

Im pro lvl 35 in armour manufacturing yet ive only got 1 skill point so i dont think i would deserve any compensation if this was armour crafting taken out of the game for 2 years so unless you have actual taming skills you didnt even miss taming.

Wel, this works great for me personally as well, so lets just see if MA does anything about it in any form whatever, my guess is that they will actually be their usual bastard selves and just conveniently ignore the issue.
 
By way things are progressing, before pets come back anything else possible will be introduced:

- Hundreds of other empty planets, including Matrix World
- Semi-biological vehicles
- Terminals to browse the internet
- Casinos
- Gaming Stations where you can play Doom, Heretic, Duke Nukem or Entropia Universe VU 9.4
- Submarines and jet packs
- Diseases that decay player's health all the time
- Escheresque staircases between planets
- Minecraft interface

This is gonna be a LONG thread...

At this point it almost makes sense to start counting in years...sad and scarey at the same time.

Maybe they had it ready and then realized they need to extend it for spacemobs ;)
 
No nothing that complex, just total lack of professionalism and no understanding of the extent their incompetence affects the likelihood of survival of the business as a going concern.
 
taming was one of the only reasons I had fun in this game. :whip:

My best taming loot was 49 peds off a exa prowler near twins @ the time.
 
While you guys wait for taming, you can try to tame me :yay:
I'll kill any creature you want when you feed me with gun/ammo/fap/armor and of course all loot belongs to my master (you!).
I'm also able to be tiered up with skill chips and can go all the way to level 100!

Well I mean.. It's better to have a noob as pet than nothing (I can even be dressed up!)

I didn't reply and didn't close the case.

I knew my case alone wouldn't do anything, but thought perhaps it would be in addition to support cases written by others.....the squeaky wheel gets the grease....hint hint.
 
A little fish told me that taming is so high on the priority list the sales reps at the time couldn't even remember the name of the system that so many people wanted back.

all that means is the sales reps arent worth much. I also find it hard to beleive they have sales reps :)

I think MA should concentrate on getting Taming back before mentoring....

indeed, I'm also calling it quits now and shipping out, there comes a time when reality hits home.
 
How MA handled taming is an absolute unmitigated disaster any way you look at it. They may choose to handle it like grownups, i.e owning up to it and going overboard to compensate those who bet on it and stuck with it. I give this probability 0.01% chance, given what we know and how they have acted in the past (although it would be a nice surprise:). They may reintroduce it in some version down the road and pretened everything is on track and schedule, nothing to see here move along kinda thing. This carries a high probability of say 70%. They may also easily just never put taming back into the game with say 29.99% probability, and act like that is ok as well, as the people who get upset by it are few and it is better to lose these damn whiners anyway (sadly as this is technically a game, no legal action is possible so they are not subjecting themselves to any true legal liability).

So we shall see which of these scenarios transpires.
