i was just wondering what laptop or comp to get or what parts to get for a comp to build my own to run PE smoothly. preferably want a laptop. any suggestions would help thanks :).

The breaking factor for most notebooks is the display adapter.
Look at this chart to compare graphics capabilities:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/graphics-card-geforce-radeon,2761-7.html

Decide which EU graphics mode you want to run in, consult EU or FPC tech support pages for what cards run that, then find a notebook that has the mobility or discrete graphics chip to do the job based on the chart.

...and then throw all the RAM that'll fit into it.

No, this won't be cheap. EU is demanding and capable notebooks are not in high volume production.

how you think that one would do? just wondering :). thanks

Looking where that falls on the Toms chart (6th rank from top performers) and my previous experience with 9800 GT series nvidia, I'd wager that would be a solid performer on "medium" anywhere on Entropia, and possibly "high" in rural sightseeting excursions with no combat.
