Was the Yamato sold on? I thought I saw it in auction with a 90k+ped buyout.... Dont know if it was sold or pulled from auction or maybe I just dreamt it :cool:
 
Could be. Atleast auction data states 4 ships were sold. (I thought it was a mistake, but perhaps not).

confirmed this ship was sold via auction buyout overnight for 90k. the new owner messaged me this morning, but i will let him have his own coming out party.

the main purpose of this thread was simply to document the motherships as they launched, either given away on contest or sold on auction, to what winner/buyer and for what cost.
 
Update? Last nights bid war went on for some time so I left and didn't catch the final bid.
 
rounded off the amounts and provided some info. wasn't watching the ends of the auctions so not sure who the avatar winning each ship was. was told Sbi and someone from BAHQ bought one each. no idea about yesterday. if anybody has that info post or pm it and ill update to post 1.
 
I missed the last minutes of bidding but it were Minken and Akoz bidding by 1 ped increaments for a long time - minken made one of the last bids to 62k , akoz topped that one by 1ped. i think the final bid was 62003 so maybe its akoz ;-)
 
Kronan - sold via global auction 6/25 - ~67.5k - Sold to SBI
Krusenstern - sold via global auction 6/26 - ~62k - Sold to Akoz at 63003 - Minken raised it to 63000 & 63002 but Akoz ultimately won the ship

I watched both auctions until the ships were sold.
 
id like the bismark, was the ship of all ships when it still floated.

gratz to all lucky owners, hope space will be an actionfilled place with opportunities for all of us.

updated post one with more information. i'm under the impression BAHQ bought the Ticonderoga. but i don't have confirmation on who placed the bid to win that ship.

So just 12 player owned UL MS. 4 UL QUADs and a restricted number of limited ships, well its gonna be a HUGE battle!...I wonder how many ships are in EVE?
I do wonder considering they claim to have 900000-1mil accounts that we have enough UL ships?

Add to that the hangar owners getting their own ships in a future update. Most people are using VTOL's at present.

12 owners but only 11 motherships
which should be plenty considering how space is now...

how many people can fit on each ship... not gunners... but just passengers...

50 persons per ship all in all (crew included).

I don't think it's a secret but I was bidding on behalf of a Black Angels consortium who now own the Ticonderoga.
