Hello all! For those of you I have not met My name is PigBenis Pig Hateraid and I have been playing Entropia since December 2005. I wanted to start this mining log for anyone who is interested and to keep track of my finds publicly. Since I hit a tower a few years back
My main goal is to get to a point where I can maintain profitability just through mining (an ATH would be nice as well).
Runs will be on the smaller scale as I have a full time job, Most runs will be done during the week as I work weekends.

All Runs will be Done for Ore and Enmatter unless otherwise noted.

Skills:
lvl 19 prospector
lvl 9 Surveyor
(not great I know Ive chipped them out several times)


Equipment:
F-105 (no tier upgrades used unless noted on the run)
RE/-104
ME/01
Amps (almost always, will note on the specific run)

Notable Claims: XIV XIII

Really Poor TT Value on this Run I should have stopped after the first couple of bombs where NRF instead of blowing through the first amp. Took a break for 3 hours then hit some globals. This run was on 7-9-11

Overall TT was much better however I spent a lot of time In an area with oil my great global was Oil which hampered my MU which I am Aiming for 25%. This Run was done on 7-10-11

When i did a blog was kinda nice to see overall figures.

Notable Claims: XV and 291 Angel Scales

First Area I went to had a bunch of NRF took two more spots to find consistent claims. Angel scales really boosted my mark up on this run. Still taking some losses but Im not at all worried about it as It is half of my previous run.

Overall Total: 380.84

No notable claims not one global or ooto, first spot was terrible and I realized that someone had hit a 2k there much earlier before my last run. Moved out of the area slightly and had some really good results without needing a global. A single global on this run would have made it profitable.

Mission accomplished their Strash let the log go. Although I think it would be interesting to see how you fair after your ATH.
Angel scales, I loot them all the Time on FOMA but the last two weeks I was up there I took a hard hit on my ped card so I think I will stay on calypso for a while. I will let you know if I get more next time I run into you. Also their seems to be a shortage of lvl 5's in the auction lately so I may take you up on that offer.

A lot of Small and VI finds mixed with NRF a bunch of times, the global came with a sizable claim but that was about it. I need to start hitting more tt Value near the 75-80% If I want a chance at profiting.

Yeah so I decided to take a break in the action to spend a couple of hours in FOMA today as i saw a bunch of hofs and a slew of globals popping up this morning. Got up there and Bam 4 XIII Right off the bat and Dome 6 was bieng sweet to me with a decent hit rate on both ore and enmatter. Unfortunately for me I wasn't paying attention to my drop rate and it all turned downhill from there. Mu is terrible due to the low quality ores up on the rock, mainly Gang and Iron. I try to stay in domes without gang but even then the Enmatter mining wasnt all that great to me either.

Amps: 872 Ped (4lvl5) 369.5 Bombs = 1241ped

TT Value: 540.99. 44%
MU Value: 57.57 11%

Run Total: 642.94
Overall Total: 1144.69

Notable finds: 4 XIII
 
Back on Calypso, FOMA put a small dent in my ped card so i figured it was time to leave before it got any worse. Im not by any means done with FOMA though. I really enjoy the mining up there and the next time i see it popping Ill head back up there. Lesson learned especially in a casino type environment such as that, loot and leave while your ahead.

Profit. Finally a profitable run, decided to up the anti a little bit with level 7 amps testing the waters with a level 5 then switching up when my hit rate is good. It payed off. Right Now i prefer the Level 5's simply becouse the MU% on them is around 110% compared to 115% that the level 7s are going for. The level 7s however are not as big an investment bieng only 120 ped compared to the 200 ped level 5.

Amps: 630 Ped (1lvl5, 3 lvl7) 168 Bombs = 798ped

TT Value: 709.52 89%
MU Value: 181.35 26%

Run Total: 92.86
Overall Total: 1051.83

Notable finds: 3 XV

Some good finds this run, Belk was hitting hard with a couple of XI mixed with Niksarium which I hit a nice 92 pedder. an Ample claim or two of Solis and a helping of Narc.
 
just stay on calypso and mine.
i suggest sticking to level 5's as the costs of level 7's do add up but your choice.

The Live broadcast was neat and Ill probably do One a week. went Live with the 3 level 8s hit two small XIII. Overall Im rather Happy with this run as I spent Alot of ped and got good returns. Im still loosing ped like its my job but my Tt value and MU Value are Improving.

Amps: 1130.68 (2lvl5, 1lvl7, 3lvl8) 287.5 Bombs = 1418.18

TT Value: 1010.89 71%
MU Value: 214.97 21%

Just couldn't get my groove on with this Run, In fact this was over the course of 2 days just a couple of hours a day as work interrupts my game life lol. Seems ive gotten into a little bit of a slump lately even globals have dried up for me.

Amps: 1490 (6lvl5, 1lvl8) 521 Bombs = 2011ped

TT Value: 1342.2 67%
MU Value: 256.9 19%

Run Total: 411.9
Overall Total: 1656.05

Thanks Strash going to go with your advise. Only went out with a few level 7s tonight as I haven't had much time to play tonight. Couldn't get one global or even a half way decent claim size. Tried a few new areas that I haven't mined before and found some decent MU Stuff.

Hmm, your loss is getting bigger day by day, mate. Hopefully, you'll get something HUGE in the end...

Ok so My determination has finally paid off with some nice claims and a Profitable Run. What makes it even sweeter is that my hofs/globals had a good MU% (cough Solis Cough).

Amps: 432(2lvl5) 142 Bombs = 574

TT Value: 925.03 161%
MU Value: 307.23 33%

Run Total: 658.26
Overall Total: 1104.81

Notable finds: XV, XVI, XIII, XIV
