Warpflights on the Normandie - faster, cheaper and safer then any other form of transport ?

As an early headsup - please be aware that the Normandie's scheduled flights will be shifted one hour backwards according to mindark / ingame time (ma) to keep the departures inline with the changed times of those countries who follow the timechange.
 
NEW PRICELIST FOR THE NORMANDIE !!!


Ticket price for scheduled warpflights: 10Ped per planet/station you are going to visit. Joining in on repairs is encouraged the ship offers enough security to let you log out in time when needed.
For scheduled flights you have to match departure times, the ship doesnt wait.
People signing for transport on a flight that is executed as a roundtrip will be charged as if its one warpflight only even thought there will be stops inbetween. Traders that want to visit several planets have to sign the respective ticket.
People who disconnect after getting onboard while not having payed will be carried over but if they cant get back till the ship goes further on its schedule they will be removed from guestlist.
Everyone is expected to be prepared for ticket payment. Dont wait for being asked. When you havent been charged by me in advance of the flight i expect the payment directly uppon arrival onboard to keep waiting times on this at a minimum and allow for smooth schedule to aid all customers and crew.

For normal passengers:
Exclusive VIP flight 45Ped per warp jump required (+10 Ped for each additional passenger) *(price valid between 2MA - 19MA)
Exclusive VIP flight 60Ped per warp jump required (+10 Ped for each additional passenger) *(price valid between 19MA - 2MA)

For subscribers:
Exclusive VIP flight 40Ped per warp jump required (+10 Ped for each additional passenger) *(price valid between 2MA - 19MA)
Exclusive VIP flight 50Ped per warp jump required (+10 Ped for each additional passenger) *(price valid between 19MA - 2MA)
For VIP flights the number of flights is counted starting from Normandie's current location.

add. info: When choosing your means of transport you should always consider the total flight costs in comparison, the ToS Normandie offers an additional opportunity to save money on scheduled flights and on vip flights when requested. On scheduled flights we always go straight to the atmosphere so you can fly down safe with your shuttles just paying 2 ped entry tax or sharing seats and paying even less, often are free seats avaiable as well - and afterwards we dock to the respective spacestation where you can use the station teleport to get down to planet for 7Ped tp fee.
Other providers who often offer logged out transport as they are missing crew can not provide the atmosphere departure as they wouldnt be able to offer that in a secure way since it happens in pvp. Choosing station over atmosphere equals to 5-7ped higher costs per flight.

Schedules have now been shifted 1 hour forward according to ingame time, which should keep the departures the same in relation to most countries that performed switch to summer time. If summer time schedule leads to any issues with your participation on flights that you used to utilize please inform me of your case.

Just a little note to say that even with the current space bugs - Normandies Warp services are still in succesful Operation.

We did our scheduled flight yesterday, and were not effected by the current issues. if you do require safe transportation and are concerned that you might get stuck in space, please consider this as a viable option to be transported safely and effeciently.

With tickets only 10 peds now, it makes sense :)
 
tyvm to Mel, who is doing the boarding teams on Arkadia whilst I'm indisposed...and stuck on NI due to space bugs, not that I mind. It's a very nice place to be :) It makes a pleasant change to not have to fly back and forth in my quad to hunt here.

If anybody has difficulty finding a boarding team at the usual times and places, please add John to FL.

Thanks Grez, yes we will have cyrene flights as per schedule today, on friday and on sunday and we will have a long cyrene stay for the crew to explore the planet together either on thursday or saturday - will shortly be announced.

So far the 1st of may has been a very successful and busy day for the Normandie, we did 17 warpflights between all planets transporting our subscribers, some regular single trip passengers and 43 new passengers throughout the universe, some of them several times - ToS Normandie connecting the universe like no other - sign up with the number one :D

A great thank you to all of the crew who worked hard to make this possible, always keeping the ship safe and secure, as well as going down on the planets raising boarding teams for many hours.
My special thank you goes to Captain Alaina Bonnie Scotia - close to 8 hours at my side always keeping the ship to plan, the crew organized and the passengers safe and informed. We couldnt have done this without you.

ToS Normandie offering the cheapest space transport when considering total travel expenses.
Fly for 10ped safe to atmosphere and you dont need to pay the 7ped tp fee if you fly with others who just do station flights. Of course you still have the option to use station tp on all our flights as well, if you prefer this kind of departure.
 
ToS Normandie now upgraded to 84138,8 structural integrity :D

We are going on our 600th warpflight tonight and even thought spacestation tp's are not working according to patchmessage (known issues) - you can be sure that ToS Normandie will get you to your desired target as always safe and secure delivering straight to the planets atmosphere - who needs stations anyways ? ;)
 
Just a small precision: Privateer owners still need space stations, as the only way for them to leave their ships is by using the teleporter from privateer to space station.
 
Of course they are needed, not only for privateer docking but also as revives for people and spacecrafts - my question above was a rethoric one implying that we have been delivering passengers to atmosphere all the time safe and secure :)

^^ yes due to the log off exploit. It really ruins planet to planet trade when people can log out in safe zone, then log back in when they get to the other planet safe zone. Screwing up space if you ask me. Nothing about lootable pvp should be 100% safe.

it's funny how you call using a known & intented feature an exploit while you call a quad that goes way faster bad programming from MA & 'ok' to use :scratch2:

That is very funny that you mention this in connection with the Normandie. There is alot of other ships who offer logged out transport but passengers of the Normandie usually stay logged in because its just that safe. In all this time since we started offering our service the Normandie has exactly been shot down only once (using an attack range flaw in mindarks coding based on wrong gun turret assignments on motherships, which has been stated by Kim in his last interview on NormandieRadio that its currently still looked into), in which case really the logoff was used - on all other flights this has never been necessary.
So i guess you can write your complains in threads of those ships who fly to safezones only and exspecially advertise with logged out transports, but the Normandie always go to atmosphere which is clearly within pvp and pirates know this and also know our schedules.
Fact is that they have never dared to seriously duke it out while we are at atmosphere cause they know they cant misuse range attack when our weak spot is turned planetside. Whenever they attacked us at atmosphere they got partially shot down before retreating.
Fact is in an open battle that is fought in gunning range - Normandie wins.

We dont have 100% because of logouts, we have it because of an amazing crew, awesome commanding officers, great gunners, number one structural integrity and pure dedication and care to bring each and every of our passengers safe to their destination.

I ask you to keep further complains that are not in order to other threads and keep this one clean for our passengers to receive useful information.
