Question: How long before a new playe can deposit a large ammount of money?

I have been talking to some friends about the new calypso land deeds and they seem interested on them as an investment.

Is there still a time limit before you can make a large deposit via Credit Card ?

How big can the first deposit be?

First they need deposit a small amount (10usd) this will start the process and they will get a certain activation code on their atm statement paper.

Last i heard it this takes 3 days. Then activate the card. Voila!

As always, when it's about a lot of money, avoid cc.

Do a bank transfer. No 3.5% (or more?) fee. Straight local currency to USD/PED.

(EDIT: maybe your bank takes an "international" fee or something. Either way, the payment providers fee is at least gone)

Just keep in mind that MA is in UTC+2, and bank transfers are done perhaps 3-5 times/day. The times I have deposited like this (from Sweden, though) I've had the money on my PED card within a few hours (except that time I did it too late on a Friday... )
