Cost of killing a mob with different weapons (inc. skill based, overkill, regen, amp, enhancers etc.)

Scorch, are you still updating this from time to time, or have you stopped making updates to your code? Just curious as this was such a neat tool.

The markup used is from entropedia, and yeah it's not very accurate just a baseline. But that's why there's an input field for each weapon where you can set the correct markup that you see in the auction and run the search again to get accurate information.

I sadly haven't done any updates to it in a while, too much other stuff going on in my life at the moment. The code is available on github though if someone is interesting in contributing: https://github.com/sovaa/entropia-calc

I'll do another sync with Entropedia soon to get all new weapons and such.

Suggestion for For the future improvements:
- Keep amp selection between searches.
- Make a Melee amp selection available.

Is there a guide somewhere explaining how to use this website, or someone willing to show me?
I've not managed to figure our how to use it... Could it be my web browser (firefox)?

Or at least could someone provide an updated link with examples?
The once on the first page doesn't work...

Has always worked for me (using Chrome).
Very useful site!

Too bad most mobs from other planets (and also the new Caly mobs) are missing. Since the investigative frontier spirit has died out we don't have regen info on most of em any more...
With most mobs u can look up HP and add it manually thou, then provide approx regen and voila! u in business.

Fifth was really helpful, gave me a quick walkthrough via chat ingame! +rep
Everything worked out fine in firefox and I now know how to use this tool...

Quick guide:

1. Pick mob (or fill in characteristics of your mob if it is missing)
2. Add some filters below to select weapon (ideally start with class & type to get an idea of how things works)
3. Start to add filters to the right in order to narrow down your search (less search results )



Bug report:
It appears the check box for "no limited weapons" doesn't work.
To compensate I use a filter such as "Name != (L)".

Bug/feature:
If you fill in something and there are no results, there is no feedback of why.
And the site gets messed up, filters are no longer shown and the reset button is not visible
This is the situation I always ended up with before Fifth showed me how to do it.
I guess one of the cases where this happens is if the search result is 0?

Sorry guys, have not been active for quite a while. Is this tool still something that is useful for the community? It seems entropedia.info is down, or is it just my Chinese internet that is crappy?

I have not gotten any pull requests on github for this project so maybe there is not much interest in it? (don´t worry, it will stay online).

My thoughts have been to rewrite it in python and make it more extendable, but if there is little community interest I am not sure it is worth the time...

If there is a chance of someone using this that also sees this update, please help me by compiling a list of nice to have features or bug reports!

My first reaction is "you can´t", only the weapon name. I´ve been out of this for quite a while so I might be wrong, but there´s no "ID" of a weapon on entropedia.info, no?

It's moved to entropiawiki.com.

It's kind of defunct in loot 2.0 as overkill crits and dpp* are now irrelevant to TT return

*dpp functions vastly differently now operating only on a small percentage of the mob hp(TT output) rather than the entire hp
