Most pirates suck

I just have to get this off my chest.

The past tense of shoot is shot. Not shooted, not shotted, but shot.

It´s erschossen, not shoot, not shot, not shotten, dont u know proper german?!

At least 50% of ppl here aren´t native english speakers, have mercy.

Are you 100% sure?

If you take 1 shot of <whatever booze you prefer>, it's a shot.
If you did it repeatedly, I'd say you "shotted". ;)

You'd say "shots" or "you drank x shots."

Neil is correct that it is not "shooted" or "shotted" in the context of a weapon being discharged. Definitely "shot." But I'm never harsh on people who get this wrong when English isn't their mother tongue.

ofc, and I know this. I wrote my comment as a joke.

I too sometimes get irritated, and I'm not even a native English speaker, but in my case it's more often about "then" vs. "than", especially when Americans do it. Repeatedly. :)

oh, almost forgot official post from MA with "insure" instead of "ensure"
